Cabbage is nice shredded and stir fried 50/50 with leeks if you have some. Blanche the green beans and use in salad Nicoise (French tuna salad). Cauli and Broccoli gratin I am sure there must be a SW recipe?
Blanche brocolli and use in a pasta sauce or use in soup with a little stilton? Or you could just steam them (except cauliflower as this tends to go grey) and have as they are and enjoy the flavours especially if they are organic ones, with grilled meat/chicken and potatoes cooked to your choice.
