Recovery Strategy following a BAD BAD day?

Hi there

Wondering if anyone has any advice to offer for a Rapid Recovery Day ? I've been on the plan for the last couple of months and despite various set backs have been SOOOO well behaved - controlled syns, kept on track, lots of free foods etc and lost a fair bit - HOWEVER ...

Today I hadn't planned my food well and didn't have anything sorted for lunch, bought and ate ham, then later on in the afternoon was hungry - and had chocolate. Then another, then some more ....so much so and so fast that I can't even remember now what I ate?!

Anyone ever had that choc fest where you know you've ate lots but so much, so fast that you haven't a clue what ...

ANYWAY, my question is, tomorrow to get back on track will involve NO SYNS, clearly, but what other ideas do folks have to help me get back on the straight and narrow? Speed foods, super speed, gallons of water, red, green, all free or ......

Wii Fit says have gained 2lbs since yesterday LOL!!!!!!

Hmmmm well I wouldn't take too much notice of your games console!

I am forever giving in to the chocolate and other bads and I usually just go Syn free to recover.

But I have found that the best way to prevent going mad on the things you love is to include them in your diet and have them little and often.

Hiya my lovely,
Firstly dont beat yourself up over it, you have had a very similar day to me today!.
Tomorrow im going to have a green day because you can eat loads without really dipping into your syns.
Ive just had another kitkat....its my star week and im hanging for choccy! but im not going to panic over it! hell no! best thing is to have 0-5 syns tomorrow and the same monday.....seriously though dont stress over it.

And as for the Wii i wouldnt worry about it! who needs technology! eh! cheek of it!

Forgot to add do what some girls do on here and start each week with 70 syns and work down that way. I think Taz does it.

You know, you probably found that you haven't done THAT much damage but my advice would be to get out at some point tomorrow and burn off those extra calories/syns with a good old brisk walk. Not only will it make you feel better, it will work a little to make less of an impact of the choc you had today.

Good luck and welcome to the boards, they are a nice bunch on the SW part of this site and always have some good tips/hints for when things go a wee bit astray x

Yes i agree with T4A! i lost it this week and if it wern't for these girls id be in the freezer eating ice cream ;)
