Total Solution Restart 29/03/2015 Exante journey to 9st3 for life!

So bloated today. Feeling fat really fat.. But in time I won't be...

These are a few dress options for next weekends lunch date/ then birthday eve after with a friend. I'm not sure whether I should change outfits at my friends house so as to not be overdressed for lunch. Here are the options. Hope my belly goes down by then :-(

I think either the black one or the purple one (it looks dark blue in pic).. Or something more casual for day time?

I feel very disappointed in how I look. I know I shouldn't as I'm only half way through the loss.

Hi hon, I'd say the black one although it's a different view to the others - side on rather than front on. The pink is nice too - you have lovely curves :)
 
The v neck is more flattering for your shape than a high neck x
 
You look lovely Lara, I like the first one (the bluey/purpley one) and the black one. Don't get down about the scales, could be anything, give it a few days and try again, a stone and a half in a month in great!

I think you look lovely in any of them, but if I had to choose I'd say the first one (purple?).

You are doing fabulous, and don't worry about gaining either - it's easier said than done I know, but guaranteed its water weight. I bet you have a "woosh" now! x
 
Thank you all for the opinions :) I think the black or blue/purple - but agree a v neck is flattering. I do love the pink but don't feel as comfy in it, think I need a few more pounds off. May fit a bit better in a week. Also the black and purple ones could be worn in day time and I won't look overdressed I hope?

Just having 3rd pack now as was at a friends house. They all ate and I declined any food.

Hoping that whoosh does happen LLB.... I do feel so tubby. But I've come a long way from where I was.

Oh glad it helped :) Well one of my dresses fit me so I have something to wear tomorrow - not that bad,, def better than a few weeks ago.. Note to self: Pink dress I tried on doesn't zip up - try again in a few weeks!!
I just realised I wrote this 2 weeks ago and the pink dress I was talking about was the dress In the pics I posted the other day - which does zip up now!! So the inches have dropped a fair bit In 2 weeks

Let me add a new note to self: light blue playsuit does up but not wearable. Blue dress fits but not wearable - too clingy. Black lace top dress fits but too short. 2 patterned dresses- polka dot is too see through as stretches too much, Aztec is ok, again stretches and shows lumps and bumps a bit too much. Not brave enough to try the black satiny dress but held up and could see would not fit.

I'm feeling so so weak. Like even walking is exhausting. I am going on that date on Saturday at lunch, to a restaurant and then drinking in eve for friends bday. Also going to a pub the next day. So 2 meals. Will make both as low carb as possible, and make the alcohol spirits and diet mixers only, so as to get info ketosis quickly next week. I think I really need the meal based on the way I feel. My mum told me she was concerned yesterday that I had done this diet for a month. I don't know why I feel so weak? Scales only show a pound off this week, but official weigh day is tomorrow. Does anyone else feel week like this? Today will mark the end of day 5.
 
At what stage are I suppose to have the meal week on exante? Maybe that's what is due? X

I didn't do the add a meal week but the last couple of weeks I have added soya milk in tea, and a bit of low carb vegetable here and there, and still have that. Not a lot but some. I'm not feeling good at all energy wise. And feeling quite miserable as a result. Been a tough day.. Not hunger wise just energy is so low and I don't feel like myself!
 
Week 5 weigh in.... 1lb loss. Not even sure it's a pound as my scale kept hovering between 10s4 (a 2lb loss) and 10s6 (a STS) so I decided to take that as 10s4lb and a 1 pound loss. Disappointing. 10 pounds to go until goal 2, under 25 BMI. 6 pounds until goal 1 - getting into the 9s.

I've lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks. That's really not much, but hopefully it's all fat.

Really hope I lose 3 pounds next week. Or 2 at least. But with the meal and drinks on the weekend who knows.

Next occasion after this will be 2 weeks later. So will have to be drinking. And then nothing else until 3 weeks later. Hopefully be near goal by then and started exercise. Not long. If this weight actually comes off!!!

Still feeling low in energy and moody. Hoping I won't be like this on the weekend! I'm actually really scared to eat on Saturday. I'm going to ask which restaurant it is nearer the time and I'll check the menu to see what low carb options there are. I can't afford to relax with my weight as high as it is, sigh.

In regards to feeling weak, are you sleeping well? I know being in Ketosis causes insomnia - I manage to get around 3-4 hours a night but luckily as I work from home I slope off for a nap mid morning! If I dont I feel week and rubbish!
I also take a multi vitamin every day now too. I know they say you don't need anything extra with these packs, but a lot of people on the S&S FB group were also saying they were feeling weak, but felt better once taking one a day.

Hope you feel better and well done again!

Aww thanks that post really made me smile. It's true. And that picture is also accurate.

I actually weighed myself this morning and I was a pound less than yesterday: 10st5. I think I need to stop being in such a rush. It's going to come off. That's the main thing.

Good idea re. The vitamins. Sleep has been relatively good, apart from the toilet visits in middle of the night. So it could be the vitamins. I do feel better today, it might have just been an energy dip.


I would liked to have been slimmer for this date and birthday on Saturday, but I'm not.. Life goes on. I've still done well. And I looked so much better than I did a month ago.. I waste so much of my life waiting to be slim, waiting to make up for calories I ate, waiting until I am fit enough to feel good, waiting waiting waiting. It's a waste of time, so I'm going to just have a nice weekend.


I have booked a 1 month trip away! It's at the end of January. Almost 3 months away. I will be 9 stone then I know it.
