Well done for being so good at your works Christmas party and for sounding so positive, believing in yourself is half the battle! You know staying on track will be worth it for your trip. i know how you feel about awful photos, I'm sure we all do. I had some particularly bad ones last Christmas and earlier this year, I cringe looking at them and they make me feel so sad, but they also make me feel so proud of how far I've come. Next time you look at those pictures I hope you can be proud of how far you've come. Hope your having a day!

Yes photos are just a visual reminder of or bad places. Times we want to forget. But I suppose we should remember them so that we never go back there!!!

It will be worth it. I look forward to updating you all when I'm away in South east Asia and feeling good in my skin :)
 
Hmmm I've been reading online and I am thinking it could be the low calories along with running are causing the nausea. Will keep an eye!! But I've never experienced it before doing VLCD.
 
Today I've had


Mushroom soup exante
Red chilli exante
2 eggs mixed with tin of tuna
5 raisins (random but was needed before my run!!!)
Tea with milk: several

I ran 8.1 miles...

I'm feeling nauseous again. I don't know if I need to eat something else tonight. Maybe another pack im not sure.

Seriously can't wait to get a body i am happier with... I was about to weigh myself but realised there's no point plus it is end of the day. I should wait until Tuesday morning or Monday earliest.

Date tomorrow... So I will be eating and not exercising. So maybe I should save the calories for then.

But the 5 days from Friday to today I have pretty much burnt off what I've eaten. Should have lost about half a pound a day really... But doesn't feel like it.
 
I had an exante pack for breakfast and about 9 raisins and a pecan nut (I picked them out of cereal!) I was thinking that might help my stomach settle somehow.

Going to an Indian restaurant tonight - not usually a fan of that cuisine but will try it and see what healthy options are.

I tried on a dress I haven't tried on for ages today. It fit. Before I put it on I said to myself if it fits I will stop moaning and realise my figure is actually much better than I think!! And it fits and I'm wearing it!!! Will post a pic 2mo
 
So today:
10 raisins/ nut
Exante pack
2 vodka diet cokes
About 3-4 spoonfuls of prawn biriani
1 bite of a pompadom
2 small spoonfuls of a lamb potato and spinach curry

Yeah I definitely don't like Indian food... But I tried it as it was rude not to. I hope what I had was relatively healthy.

I really want a nice big cup or tea when I get in!!

Decided I'm going out bar hopping then to a club tomorrow night. So I shall be drinking. Hoping the bloat I feel right now from the food will subside!! Will sort and outfit in the morning and go out straight after work.

Feel a bit bad that I can't run until Saturday but I've been running loads it's ok really
 
Ok I also had an apple and some raisins when I came in.

Now I'm in bed... Gosh it's cold!!!!

Urghhh feel so rough again. Shivering and feverish. And nauseous. And the sore throat is back. Really want to go out tonight. Well at least it reduces my appetite!!!
 
I feel so unwell. Sore throat, shivers, fever... I went out last night and was waiting for a night bus in the cold in early hours... Was a fun night though.

Had exante pack yesterday, Special K crisps, lots of vodka diet cokes,

Came home and needed warm food so had a bowl of beans and a bowl of ratatouille.

Really want to run today. Friend also asked me to come out to drink at a friends house then probably go to a few bars but I'll have to see if I make a miraculous recovery.
 
Well I've officially reached breaking point. I felt absolutely awful and had to call nhs. Been given anti biotics and an inhaler as I couldn't breathe. I can't speak as glands and throat all swollen.

Yesterday I managed to eat quite a lot of cream crackers with chicken slices and tomato yesterday. And had a few bowls of porridge with yoghurt mixed in.

What was weird is that at the hospital they did a urine test and they said that my urine was very high in ketones and that I should eat sugary cold foods. How weird is that??? I ate all that porridge and crackers how can I be high in ketones??

Managed to have 2 yoghurts today.

I am annoyed that I cannot go jogging now as was just starting to like my body more and feel toned. But what can I do I have to wait and get better

Sorry you are ill honey - I know it's frustrating but you do have to wait till you're better to start running again xx its for the best in the long run!

Yep I learnt my lesson about pushing my body. I will run again just not right now!

Thank you. Reassuring to hear as I'm never quite sure when to believe my own interpretations when it comes to my figure!

I am eating carbs as I am on so many antibiotics and ibuprofen so it's probably wise. I am hoping maybe by the weekend I'll be well enough to run. I am signed off work all week so will do my best to recover!!

I still have big hips as you can see!! Running will help with that. I don't mind having toned big hips. I am cheating slightly because my tummy is probably so flat because I'm dehydrated as been sweating so much and unwell. I'm too scared to weigh myself so I didn't.
