Restaurant experience

So, I had to go for a dinner to some fancy restaurant. It was 1off thing from work, and I couldn't get out from it and believe me I tried hard! It would be very bad if I didn't. First I thought right I go and will eat nothing, maybe just move a fork around some food on the plate. But then realised everybody will be why aren't you eating? how is your food? I just couldn't stand all the explanations!
So decided to have something and eat it:mad:
Talked to the pharmacist today and she's like no you can't, **** I know andI don't want to!
long story short i had black coffee as a starter, warm smoked chicken (very small square pieces, could be maybe a quarter of a small breast) salad with green vegetables and tomatoes (unfortunately there was olive oil in it and little straps of parma ham/bacon but I tried to not eat them). It was the safest dish from the whole menu, and I didn't take any potatoes, and asked for no bacon, but they added it anyway:mad::mad::mad: And peppermint tea for a dessert.
Now I'm freaking out that I'm out of ketosis, will put on weight, not loose anything this week!
Has anyone got similar experience??

Firstly don't panic - I said don't panic. Just carry on with your shakes and see what happens at weigh in. With the best will in the world we can all suggest what will or won't happen, what may or may not happen and to be honest you'll only know for sure when you weigh in.

Just keep on the shakes and carry on as normal. One week it was expected that I will have put on lbs and lbs because I'd eaten out for four days on the trot, out at restaurants too - I didn't!!

Good luck, and remember a 1lbs loss is still a loss x

Hi Miss Desperate!
Fret not....due to fainting two weeks ago I had to have something to eat and like you I have chicken salad and did have some bread(it was a sandwich). Still didnt feel great the next day so had another sandwich then and still managed to lose one and a half pound on my weigh in. In fairness you did try your best to eat the best thing on the menu so fair play to you. I dont think that I came out of ketosis as didnt feel any side affects apart from a bloated stomach for a day. Try maybe a little light exercise to work it off. Let us know how you get on X

Don't mean to deter you but you have posted this in the 100% section and you really shouldnt have. I doubt in this section you are going to hear what you want as there is to be no talk of food/blips of any kind.

You couldve just said to them you were on a strict diet and you didnt want to ruin the plan. Getting out of the habit of finding 'excuses' is hard.

If there is a mod about i wouldnt mind this thread being moved to the correct section (dont mean to be all snooty about it or what not so im sorry if thats the way it has come across).

I didn't have any bread or other carbs. Have a bloted stomach, ofcurse, and it feels kind of wiered. I don't know did I come out of ketosis , feeling veeery cold today, but it could be because I'm still sick and it's realy cold today anyway.
Apart of normal horse riding I do everyday, I went cycling in the evening for 2,5h. Will try to work my butt !

Hopefully, you will not have done too much damage. Even if you have a loss this week, don't take it as a green card to do the smae on other occasions.Remember, you will have other occasions like this and slipping on and off tfr is not the best way to go. next time, you just have to stick with the plan. Stick with the sparkling water and the coffee or tea!!

i really wouldnt worry about it,its not like you ate carbs or a huge quantity.....you chose well.its not an easy thing to do.i know its disheartening,but just put it down to lesson learned...and experience....i bet you l stil be down your next weigh in..and the chemist have to be like that..dont stress about them either..good luck

Th weight is definatly going down, but my scale shows a lot less then the pharmacy one. Official weigh in on tuesday.
Working out everyday, like I never did in my life!
