Rich Tomato Sauce

    Rich Tomato sauce

    Serves: 4
    Syns per serving:
    Negligible Syns on Green, Original and Extra Easy


    Ingredients
    2 onions very finely diced
    2 cloves garlic chopped
    1 carton passata
    2 tin chopped tomatoes
    2 cup chopped tomatoes with herbs and garlic
    Fry Light
    2 tablespoon tomato purée
    1 tsp Italian seasoning
    1 tsp garlic salt
    1 tsp onion salt
    1 tsp celery salt
    salt and black pepper
    1 tsp granulated sweetener


    Method

    Fry the onions and the garlic in Fry Light. Stir fry quickly to brown the edges then lower the heat and sweat the onions for about 10 minutes until starting to soften. Add in the rest of the ingredients, mix well and simmer on a very low heat for about an hour.
