sweet and sour sauce recipe:
serves 2 - 2pp per serving


125ml of pineapple juice
12 chunks of pineapple
3rd large pepper chopped small (any colour)
2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp cider vinegar
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 heaped tsp cornflour
1/2 tsp ginger

bung in a pan, bring to boil and then simmer for about 10 minutes stirring often.

that splendip was yummy, very morish though.
 
was pottering round yesterday, cleaning cupboards out , throwing out old clothes, housework, cutting sons hair and fixing his computer :rolleyes:
didn't put anything down for activity, only going to do that when i go out my way for activity, like a hike, bike ride, or on the wii.

i've been a bit naughty this week with chips, chocolate and sweets, had chips again tonight.
i've stayed in my points though so hopefully a loss.

getting stuff ready for hols, and been trying stuff on from last year to see if they fit, and they do :D. the shorts i have on today were always too tight but they're fine, just a little snug.
got a few more pairs and all brand new, they should be loose for my cruise in october, can't wait :bliss:
 
doing the med hun, my first cruise too :D
visiting sicily, naples, sardinia, france, barcelona and then back to palma where we are stopping for a week.

i wanted to go to italy, my hubby wanted to go to majorca, so i got round it with the cruise and bribed him with the week in majorca lol

all because i want to walk up mount vesuvius, i love volcanoes, tornados things like that. i wanted to go to tornado alley in a couple of years but he refused , wonder why lol.

have you been on a cruise hun?

No Rosie I have never been on a cruise ...so Jealous and visiting Naples etc..lovely ....maybe one day when little un has flown the nest ..lol... you'll be making new records for ap's earned when you have finished all that walking ...hope you hve a fab time hun x
 
lol thanks hun :) mine are grown up now, youngest is 18 this year, first time i've left them for two weeks, i've told them no parties.

i have arthritis in my spine and it's flared up big time so i've took it easy (apart from the painting yesterday and i'm suffering for it)

STS last night, was expecting it so no problem, just as long as i didn't put on. felt very ill yesterday with my stomach, i have tummy problems anyway but OMG was sick twice.
i have been taking ibuprofen for my arthritis ,i don't know if it was that but i've also noticed i don't feel great everytime i have eggs, so goin to knock them on the head for a while.
hubby rubbed me with tiger balm on my back and i just had some paracetamol last night and i feel a little better this morning.
