Good afternoon everyone!

Bit of background info on rubberduck :) I'm amy, I'm 25 and a married mommy of one in the southwest uk. I'm epically overweight due to depression and binge eating problems, and will be damned if I stay this weight for a moment longer! I'm completely determined to lose this weight and finally, for the first time ever, get to a normal healthy BMI range. I have been overweight since first school, was a size 16 by middle school.... so this will be a massive journey for me and I hope you'll all join me, spur me on and follow my progress :) !!

Day 1
I'm on my first full day of slim & save after swapping over from lipotrim plus a bit of naughtiness in between. I had s&s lunch yesterday and a v healthy dinner last night for the last time. I started this morning with a chocolate shake which was lovely, and had a bar for lunch (about 230pm) which was also fab. I ordered the trial pack to get me started as I wasn't sure if I'd like it / what to order. So far everything has been gorgeous so I'm not complaining one bit!
Not really feeling the hunger yet, and chugging my water down so hopefully I won't run in to any issues :)

I completely know how you feel with the binge eating and depression. I'm hoping that abstaining from real food for a while will help.

Hi Claire, good luck hun <3 binging is so bloody annoying, always feel guilty afterwards!


Just had my evening s&s meal - macaroni cheese. mmm I really enjoyed it!! :D this is the best diet ever!
 
Hiya, it's a really good diet I find as I don't have to worry about food, it's all sorted for me :)

DAY 2
So far today had a banana shake for breakfast which was okay, but preferred the choco! Just nomming half a tin of tuna on its own as hunger suddenly made an appearance, and will be having a bar later this afternoon and a meal this evening. This is fab!

Please offer suggestions of other types of protein as I can't find a list anywhere :) xxx

You'll do great Amy, keep the faith! Once the first three or so days are over with the hunger will subside.
Try chromium supplements from Holland & Barrett, they work a treat to stave off carb cravings.
Well done for deciding to turn your life around. This forum is such a help when you feel like giving up
so keep those posts coming! :)
 
Ooh chromium.. righto, I'm off to look for that then! I love my carbs, I think that's a major part of why I got so badly overweight! Thanks shivie :D xx

Just had cottage pie.. wasn't so keen on it but I imagine it would be better with veggies! My hubby has just gone on a broccoli run LOL bless him :D xx
 
Day 2 ended with me snaffling my bar and some broccoli between 8-10pm lol. Bedtime for now! ZZZzzzzzzzzzz...

Hi @mikey, the Holland & Barrett ones have 200Ug and you take one a day.
 
I'm still pondering on the chromium. Does it really work for you? :) x
