I bought myself a bottle of Sailor Jerry (yum!) rum for christmas It's a spicy dark rum a bit like Morgans Spice. Is rum as 2.5 syns for a 25ml measure like vodka? I don't have my book to hand.

It's not listed but then neither is Morgan's Spice but I would think that 2.5 syns would be right. As an aside did you know you can't get MS in English pubs - never seen it when I've been their and they've never heard of it

I have a full bottle of rum in the cupboard that I brough back from Dominican. That would be so much better than my 6 syns for wine! Don't know if will be drinkable though, its been there for 4 years?
