S&S Diary - Abbz (Abbey)

Day 1 (12.05.2014)
Had a super day, love the taste of the shakes (two strawberry & two raspberry per day) and not feeling too hungry or anything, really determined! Did my leg workout, took 20 minutes and involved lots of squats and starjumps and lunges, so I ached for a while but I'm alright now after a long soak in the bath haha. Just got to drink a bit more water (though I've had over a liter just in shakes as well as cups of tea, with sweetener, so I'm probably okay for water intake), hopefully tomorrow will be just as good!
Also, I know it's not a good idea to weigh yourself all the time but I hopped on the scales this evening out of curiosity, and I'm down to under 11 stone again already. Fab! :D

Woke up really hungry and kept waking up in the middle of the night needing a wee, but I guess that all paid off as I lost 3.25 pound since yesterday morning (water weight obviously but still!). I'm now only 3lb heavier than the lightest I've been, hopefully I'll have a new lowest weight at the end of this week or next week.

Had one strawberry shake already. 1 day down, 55 to go (at least).

Hi Abbz not sure if i am allowed mentionthe diet here but it promises a "new You" wink

Day 2 (13.05.2014)
I was so hungry yesterday, my belly was gurgling and rumbling and I had to fill up on water to make myself feel full. My family had steak for dinner so I ate some mushrooms instead of a shake (tried my free sample of lemon yoghurt, tastes and smells disgusting!). I might use up my leftover Lipotrim packs tomorrow and the next few days as they're not very well dated and I'd like to use them up. Switching from 4 slim and save a day to 3 lipotrim a day won't make any difference to weight loss will it?

The morning of day 3 and I've lost another 1.25 pound so 4.5 in total so far :)

your loss is so far amazing
my daughter found an app for the daily weighers :) she uses it and says it gives preditions and also shows you a running average so you can see how you are doing over time so no get disappointed if the weigh should stay still or go up a little
happy scale
I am not using it but apparently the more days you do weigh the better its prediction becomes over he first few weeks = sounds good but I have promised myself that I cant fixate on the scale
you are doing brilliantly and I am almost cracking as I so want to know what is going on with my body too :)

Thank you! That sounds like a really cool app, I keep charts and stuff though I don't really need an app, but thanks for letting me know :) Best of luck x

It sounds like you're doing really well Abbz - Not long and you'll be back at your lowest and then some. Remember it's only a few weeks of hardship for a lifetime of gains, especially if you stick to your exercise plan as this will keep the weight off once you stop :D

Thanks Steve! Yeah I've only got to lose another few pound and I'll be back at my lowest weight, shouldn't be too long! Yeah, I'm hoping that the combination of diet, exercise and toning lotions will get me looking good!

Day 3 (14.05.2014)
Yesterday was fairly easy, and it was a rest day for the exercise too. I went to see my boyfriend and he said that I look slimmer already, especially on the face and tummy :D
A friend sent me some of her meal packs and she's switched to a different diet, I'll give them a try soon! Happy with my progress :)

Old Diary (Lipotrim): here. Round 2... Hi, I'm Abbey :) I lost 3 stone on Lipotrim between November 2013 and February 2014 (went from nearly 14st to under 11st), and had every intention of switching to Slim & Save after my birthday in March to lose a further 2-3 stone. Well, I bought a month's worth and was on it for two weeks, lost half a stone nearly (got down to 10st9) and put it all back on plus a little bit more when I came off Slim & Save for my friend's 18th in early April. I haven't managed to get motivated enough since. Right now, I'm about 11st1lb (155lb), 40lb down from what I was in November but still 30lb away from where I want to be. I'm a size 10 - 12 but I have chunky thighs still and belly fat. I'm restarting Slim & Save Simplicity on Monday 12th May 2014 to get down to 8-9st; I know it's light, I'm not aiming to be skinny or look ill, I just want to be slim and lean and that's still a healthy BMI for me. I'm hoping that by losing weight with Slim & Save and by exercising (walking, aqua aerobics and toning exercises) I'll look fab for Summer! Reasons for doing this (again): - Look and feel great for Summer - Start surfing - Bikini's! - Confidence - Be able to buy and wear whatever clothes I like (and in a smaller size) - Be fit & healthy - Lose belly/leg fat - Wear a dress with confidence - Not be jealous of slim friends - To prove to everyone that I can do it (again) I can admit to myself that I fell of the wagon a bit these last few months, but I'm determined now to get it done so I never have to look and feel this way again! Feel free to add me on fb (link above icon) Here's a picture of me before November 2013 compared to now: <img src="http://www.minimins.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=137231"/> I'd really appreciate any support and advice, such as exercising techniques, how to get rid of lumpy legs and lose skin etc. I start on Monday! - Abbey x

Wow Abbey!

You look great in your after pic! You just motivated me x100! Lol
I'm hoping to lose around 4 stones by December but I keep losing determination n motivation. What kept you grounded and so strict with the diet?

Xx

Hey there :) Aw thank you I'm glad it's motivated you, I could still use a bit of work though! Good luck with it :) It's very possible to lose 4 stone by December, if you stick to a VLCD like Lipotrim or Slim & Save you could lose 4 stone by mid-September!

What kept me going was partly wanting to prove to everyone that I could (after being told I'd never stick with it), but mostly it was just telling myself that there are more advantages to being strict now than disadvantages. Towards the end of LT i did start getting slack with the diet, but I'm back on track now!

The best advice I can give to you is to pick a start date where you know that there will be no interruptions (eg. birthdays, holidays, other occasions) as it's easy to cave in and cheat; also if you decide to come off plan for a meal or something it's very very hard to get back into the swing of things. Be prepared, be organised, good luck!

Day 4 (15.05.2014)
Another pound lost so that's 5 and a half in total! pleased with that :)
Was very skeptical about trying the meals as I'm a fussy eater and thought they'd taste weird! But a friend sent me her leftover S&S packs and I tried the spag bol and it was yummy! Will have to order more. Tried the banana shake too which is delicious, variety makes this diet so much easier!
