Well here goes... day one on the gi diet.
I brought Rick Gallops book a few years ago and never started it...but really want to try it out to see if it works, I have read loads of posts today on this forum and people seem to really be losing weight which is really encouraging.
I have done the atkins diet a few times but don't seem to be able to stomach it any more, I tried just after christmas, I did lose five pounds in a week but I hate the whole meat thing.....so anyway here I am, and having a diary is going to help.
Start weight is 175.6
And now I need to finish reading the book.....

Sandra, welcome to the forum. Get reading your book and lots if luck for your GiGl diet. I dud Atkins before and it is a bit tough to cut carbs so much.
I love GL. I switched to it last march after doing a stint on TFR. It has been brilliant for me allowing me to maintain my TFR losses and lose more weight. I'm maintaining well, have a bit of Xmas weight to lose.
Drink plenty of water and watch portion sizes. Hop on the forum for support.
