Well hello all!

Yes, I've been here before, many a year ago but I'm back. I've decided that I cannot do calorie counting as I find it too difficult, so today I have re-joined SW and bought a 6wk countdown! So this will be the place, I write all my happiness, my rants and raves and also my food diary (Starting tomorrow). I need to sit down and plan my food. I go to Barbados on holiday in August and I am hoping to have lost at least a stone by then! It's a regular jaunt for me and my family as this will be the 3rd time in 1.5yrs we have been BUT this time I want to look better, not a lady who always covers up on the beach! :) So please, help and support, criticise my diary if I am doing anything wrong!! Will report back later with my food for tomorrow! Happy Slimming Everyone xxx
 
Saturday 20th - Extra Easy

HexA: 30g Mature Cheddar
HexB: 2 Slices Wholemeal Bread (400g Loaf)

Breakfast:
- Scrambled Egg
- Mushrooms (fried in Frylight)
- 1 Grilled Tomato
- 2 Slices of Toast (No Butter)

Mid Morning Snack:
- Pineapple
-Strawberries

Lunch:
- Spinach, Tomato, Cucumber, Radish, Onion, Beetroot
- Small tin of Tuna in Brine
- 30g Mature Cheddar
- 4 Seafood Sticks
- 1tbs Mayonaise - 2 Syns

Mid Afternoon Snack:
- Rhubarb Muller Light

Dinner:
- Ox Cheek Stew Inc: onion, carrot, celery, garlic, mushroom, Ox cheek, Beef Stock, Tomato Puree, Herbs, Salt & Pepper
- 1 tbls Plain Flour - 3.5 Syns

Body Magic for today is gardening.... mowing the lawn and potting plants because it's such a beautiful day. I am doing really well on my first day and I am enjoying eating healthily.... looking forward to seeing the results (Hopefully) next Friday morning

Well my first day is nearly over and done with, I might have some more fruit after my dinner but is this ok as far as you can see? I have only drunk water all day too, so no added syns there :D

HexA: 30g Cheddar
HexB: 2 Alpen Light Bars

Breakfast:
- 2 egg Omelette
- Bacon (visible fat cut off)
- Mushroom
- 30g Cheddar

Lunch:
- Jacket Potato
- Quark, Onion, Tomato, Cucumber, Ham

Afternoon Snack:
- 2 x Alpen Light Bars

Dinner:
- Roast Beef
- Roast Potatoes (Fry Light)
- Curly Kale, Carrots & Green Beans
- 25g Sage and Onion Stuffing - 4.5 Syns
- Homemade Yorkshire Pudding - 5.5 Syns

- Gravy made with Oxo, herbs, salt and pepper

Sorry for being AWOL for a few days, it's been manic but I'm here to update Monday and Tuesdays menu's as I've written it all down :)

Monday - Extra Easy

HexA: 30g Cheddar
HexB: 2 x Alpen Lights

Breakfast:
- 2 'fried' eggs (Fry Light)
- 60g W/M Bread - 6 Syns

Mid Morning Snack:
- Pineapple & Strawberries

Lunch:
- Tuna / Seafood Sticks
- Spinach, Tomato, Radish, Cucumber, Red Onion & Beetroot

Mid Afternoon Snack:
- 2 x Alpen Lights

Dinner:
- Beef / Ox Cheek
- Mashed Potato
- Curly Kale & Carrots
- Cheese Scone - 10 Syns

Over 1 syn but I haven't used a lot of syns over the past few days :)
 
Tuesday - Extra Easy

HexA: nothing

HexB: Nothing

Breakfast:
- Mullerlight Yoghurt (I was late)

Mid Morning Snack:
- Strawberries & Grapes

Lunch:
- Pasta
- Ham
- Lettuce, Onion, Tomato, Cucumber, Radish, Beetroot
- Fry Light Balsamic salad spray

Mid Afternoon Snack:
- Mange Tout

Dinner:
- Roast Beef
- Boiled Potatoes
- Cabbage
- Cheese Scone - 10 Syns
- Gravy made with Oxo and free herbs etc

Wednesday Extra Easy

HexA: 30g Cheddar
HexB: 60g Wholemeal Bread

Breakfast:
- 2 Eggs scrambled with 30g Cheddar mixed in
- 2 slices toast

Lunch:
- Morrisons Piri Piri Rice - 1.5 Syns
- 3 Chicken Drumsticks - No skin
- Side Salad

Dinner:
- Chicken Breast Fillet
- Pasta
- Tinned Tomatoes
- Celery, Carrot, Onion, Mushrooms, Garlic
- Worcestershire Sauce, Herbs, Salt and Pepper
- 50g Chorizo Sausage - 4 Syns


No snacks - I need to fill up on more fruit and free food

Thursday - Extra Easy

HexA:
30g Cheddar
HexB: 2 Alpen Lights

Breakfast:
- Mullerlight Yoghurt

Lunch:
- 3 Skinless Chicken Thighs
- 1/4 Syn Free Quiche with Ham & Mixed Veg

Mid Afternoon Snack:
- 2 Alpen Light Bars

Dinner:
- Pork Chop
- Mustard Mash made with Mustard Powder
- Mange Tout, Carrot & Cabbage
- Gravy made with Oxo, herbs, salt & pepper

Snack:
- Waitrose Mini Meringues x5 - 5 Syns (1 syn each)
- Mullerlight with choc sprinkles
- Mixed Berries
 
My first WI tomorrow and I'm petrified, what if I haven't lost anything?! I've worked really hard this week and have done well over 4 hrs Body Magic! If you can find fault with my menu's then please please give me some feedback.... :) Everything is welcome. I know I need to up my fruit intake.... also not missing Healthy Extra's.... Any help though? xxx

Good Luck with your weigh-in today and getting the weight off for your holiday.

I can't comment on your food because to be honest I don't know what you can eat on EE and I do Green all the time but you seem to be having a nice mix of food.

I make gravy with oxo and thicken it with a bit of instant mash - don't know if it is a Tweak but don't use much of it.

PrincessStevie, Barbados is our regular holiday, been there once already this year :) This time I want to look good!

Well WI results are in and I've lost 3.5lbs and I am very very pleased with myself!! :D
