Smart Points Sarah's WW Diary - 5.5lb lost / 65to go :)

That's great news about your supper network, you need that when you are poorly. I only went back to work in February 2015 so not even a year yet, there was a time when I didn't think I would be able to work but I've had to make it work for me. Some days are tough but most of the time I get on ok, just find I have to go to bed really early to be able to cope! X
Aw really!! I feel like that now, all I keep thinking about is work and work related things but I can't help it. My mum says it will take time to accept as I have always worked and been very independant. I'm 37 this year, I need to make a life for myself one way or another and either way I intend being slimmer!! lol xx

Your food always looks so delicious!
I didn't realise that cheese strings weren't that many smart points...I shall look at them for snacks now :)
Sorry to here about all the health problems you have...but you seem like you have a good positive attitude to help you.
I can relate only a small bit as I have anaemia asthma.
Hopefully the weight loss will help you and it's good that you have lots of support around you.xx
Yes I was surprised too at the smart points :) and thank you!! I hope you don't feel too poorly either hun xx

I have just had a quick read through your whole diary! Food looks Fabulous!
I'm the same as you! cant do no count.. I don't lose on it. I don't really trust it either lol.. I have no portion control! lol

hope next weigh in is kinder to you than this one!!
xxx
Thank you, I hope so to!! ...I'm dreading it as I know I have been so good but I don't feel smaller....I feel quite bloated :( But we shall soon see, not long to go now lol xx

Hi,
I'm on my 1st week of ww, thought I'd have a sneaky peek at what others are eating on the sp plan.
I have a lot of health issues, one being rheumatoid arthritis. It's so hard when you want to give the excercise a good go but can barely walk. I don't know about you but steroids make me pile on weight and make me crave carbs badly.
Your meals look great, given me some ideas. :)
Hi, ..and welcome!! I hope you're enjoying WW so far? Arthritis of any kind is awful isn't it.....I have RA in hands and feet and ankles and I have oestioarthritis (sorry I can't spell it lol) in my knee. It's been so bad this week, especially my feet grrrrrr it's like walking bare footed on pebbles is the best way I can describe it :( But because I have it in my hands and feet, crutches and walking stick isn't much use to me just now as it hurts my hands too much. As for carb cravings, oh my!! They can be horrendous at times. I don't cut or count carbs but I do watch them as I know I don't use them so much now I'm not as active. I am glad you have found some ideas in my meals, that's lovely to know, thank you!! I will try and keep it as varied as I can and keep it interesting :) What day do you get weighed? xx

Whoop whoop go me!!! I just worked out how to multi quote....its only taken me 10 years :0clapper::bestwishes::thankyouthankyou::winner:

Oh my days!! I just posted my food diary on someone elses thread :D:D:D Let's try again......

DAY 13

BF - ww yogurt, apple, banana - 2sp
Lunch - Home made hamburger - 10sp followed by ww yogurt - 2sp
Dinner - extra lean minced beef & onion in gravy with mash and savoy cabbage - 7sp
Dessert - Home made mixed berry trifel - 3sp
Snacks - 2 x cheese strings - 4sp, 1 x babybel, 2 x highlights hoc choc sachet 3sp, 2 satsumas.
TOTAL =31 SP

Also, super happy that my chest freezer finally arrives tomorrow :D Typically they text tonight to say its coming at the exact same time I have planned to go swimming in morning but it's ok, my son will be home. So typical as usually I never go out!!!! My friend was asking me about where to go for swimming round here and as my specialists recommend it for me but I'm not able to go alone, it made perfect sense to go together :D We will try it a few times and if it works out for us both them we will make it a regular thing, so really excited but anxious too....its a huge step for me to go!! But I promised myself this year will be the year!! :)

Lastly, I really want one of those things that turn veggies all curly and stringy. I know they sell them at group but at £14.99 I'm sure they will be cheaper elsewhere, anyone seen any anywhere please?? xx

Hope that you get on ok with your swimming today

It's so exciting that your chest freezer is arriving, just think of all those yummy things you can batch cook and freeze!

£14.99 seems quite good for the spiraliser as they are normally £20-30 I think? I was tempted to get one myself but I decided I really didn't need another kitchen gadget as I already have quite a collection! X

I bought a salter spiralizer in morrisons for about that price :) xxx

Hi Ladies,

Yes I realised it was on offer the week before for £9.95, so when I see it at the higher price I didnt realise it was on offer the week before

Really not happy with the freezer......it arrived and despite checking with Argos before I bought it that it was suitable for use in an outbuilding, it arrives today and guess what...it isn't!! So it has to go back :( Argos have agreed to swap it for the one that is suitable and honour the extra £30 price difference.....but I may have to wait weeks for it as it has to come direct from the manufacturer :( So not happy about this at all.

Swimming was great!! :D Although it has exhausted me.......2pm and I was in mt fluffy pjs :D:D:D my knees are killing me but I'm assuming thats a good thing as it's a new exercise so we will go again next week :D

Weigh day tomorrow eeeeeekkkkkk!!!!! xx

How annoying about the freezer! Well Done Argos for agreeing a solution promptly and one that isn't going to cost you anything other than time.

Glad to hear swimming went well, no pain no gain and all that! Good Luck for WI tomorrow, maybe swimming will give you a last little boost on the scales. X

Thank you hunni, yes rather annoying but best I know now then use it and it goes wrong then find its not covered by warrenty as I used it in wrong area!! Argos called to say my new one will arrive Wednesday so not too long a wait thankfully :)

Feeling rather sore from swimming I must say!! Even though I didn't swim loads, it has still made me sore but I hope this settles as I get used to it :) xx

Aw thanks hun :) They was very nice...but a little too much chilli flakes, still lovely though. I didn't eat it all so still have a skewer in the fridge to snack on if I like. I'm sure they would work with quorn Let me know if you give it a try :) I like the fromage frais when I fancy something sweet, as I find them sweeter than a yogurt and they feel a bit naughtier :D:D, it's nice to have a change sometimes.

Yeah Wednesday it is, I can't wait!! :):) xx

Its just tandoori powder, chilli flakes, natural yogurt, lemon juice and chicken. Marinaded for as long as you can, over night in a fridge is perfect. You can put it on skewers before or after marinading time, and just back in oven :) So simple. If you don't have time, you don't have to put them on skewers, I often just tip it out onto a baking tray and bake it, turning it halfway....simple :D

Mmmmmm they are very nice those ones I must say!!! But I can only have a max of 2 in a week or they get too sickly for me ......yet I can eat 4 Thorntons chocs no problem :D:D:D xx

I am definitely going to try those skewers out, will write the recipe down and include them in my meal plan sometime! I could just imagine them as a Friday Night Fakeaway with Pitta Bread and Salad mmmmmmmm!

I have one of those yogurts as my dessert at work every day, I find they give me the sugar boost I need for the afternoon with the kids and all for 1pp! X

WEIGH DAY - 2lb off :) Not as much as I hoped for but still 2 in the right direction!! I'm going to adapt a new structure this week with thanks to UKSerena :D And see if using my weeklies gives me a better result :p As I some how clocked up 64 Fit Points last week so maybe I need those weeklies :D xx
