A bit of an amusing problem for me I supoose. As Exante is over the net I need to find some scales to weigh in. As I am nearly 25 stone there are no scales that will weigh me in.

I am thinking of joining Slimming World and using them for their scales hahaha

I reckon the scales in your Drs surgery would weigh you. You could get your weigh in there? Some Chemists have the old style machines with dials that go above your weight. Or there's your local hospital?

If you've got real will power you could not bother weighing! Lots of people go by how their clothes fit them.

......................I do not weigh and I find it is fine. I just throw the old clothes away when they get too big or give them to charity shops and get some cheap new ones from Primark or similar or again charity shops have some fantastic designer bargains. Having no scales will not hold you back on this diet. Good luck xx

Boots have good scales you pay 20p to get weighed on! Most GP surgeries also run weight clinics, normally run by the practice nurse - its free to get weighed! I joined SW thinking if someone weighed me every week I'd get on better but all they talk about is food which made me want to eat.

Another option is not to weigh! Do what Bernice does and go by your clothes, the weight will fall off and what a nice surprise it will be when you stand on the scales and you have lost a few stone!

    Hi there

I am on exante total but also go to weight watchers on a wednesday night as my noirmal weigh in is on a saturday, it gives me a half way post to aim for and my weight watchers record looks very good so far, joining slimming world may well help you both for getting weighed and something to aim for each week.

I'd probably go to boots or the dr's to get weighed, on this diet you'll soon be able to use the cheaper scales that go up to 19 stones, it's not worth spending money on scales that weigh your weight when you'll be in the teens before you know it xx

You can get scales that go as high as 33 stones - you can definitely get ones that go over 25
