Scarlett to target one day at a time

Mm dinner sounds good. And yay for the newly free evening.

1 level yep is 5 ml. Heaped spoons are 3x the level, so 15x4= 60ml which is still tiny. If I have ice cream I want LOADS. I do love smooshing up frozen berries in yogurt with a hand blender. It is like soft scoop ice cream and super low in syns.

Sounds lovely, might have to get some frozen berries and try that!

I'm starving! Not sure why though, had lunch late and was really filling but hungry again now. Had a wander round town with mike earlier, so many gorgeous smells wafting out the millions of restaurants, and of course the pasty shop. Smells amazing but would prob make me feel sick if I tried to eat one now!
Is a bit early for dinner and an apple hasn't stopped the rumble so think I might have to go for a mugshot!

Dinner was epic! Also experimented with some syn free bhajis which were really good! I grated a small potato and microwaved it till the grated pieces were soft, thinly sliced 2small onions, mixed when when the micro pinged and put in loads of Bombay spice mix. Mixed in an egg and dolloped spoonfuls onto a fry lighted baking tray. Baked for 30mins and they were lovely!

The coconut was harder to measure than I thought! Why the f**k do sw give the syn value in tbsp when it has the consistency of a bar of soap?! Managed eventually to measure out two tbsp of coconut soap curls but what a faff! Tasted good though! Was nicer being less coconutty than last time. So 2.5 syns for the coconut and 1for the honey in breakfast. Going to have the remaining 6 syns of wine and if I fancy more I'll have a martini for 2.5syns.

Its just occurred to me that I could post pics of my food, in order to do that I will have to stop being such a gannet! It looked so nice too, you'll have to just imagine it now ;) x

Another beautiful day here :)

Late Breakfast is tea and couscous again (1syn for honey)as I enjoyed it so much yesterday, chopped an apple as well as a banana today and its really nice!
Lunch/dinner will be a roast at mikes parents. Not sure what meat we are having but its usually chicken. I will be as good as possible, go for the boiled veggies and just one roastie with a splash of gravy.

Have saved my hexb so I can have a snack in the evening as we are eating at 3pm which means ill def be hungry again before dinner!

Realised that like a wally I totally forgot to weigh in on Thursday! Doh! Weighed today to get an idea and I was 12st0.5. The last weight I've recorded was on 21/3/13 which was the week before and then I was 12st1.5 so its gone down 1lb :) not sure it would have been a loss on Thursday last week due to the weekend/engagement celebrations but its going the right way.
Really pleased as I feel good about being on plan for the first time in ages and I'm on the right frame of mind to knuckle down and get to target finally.

We are going to clear the moving rubbish bin that is mikes car in a min ready to drop it off and pick up the new car tomorrow, then going for a walk in the sunshine :) my brother and his wife and son moved in just down the road from us yesterday so will walk past there with a card. Hope everyone has a good day (well fran anyway- dont think anyone else reads haha!) x

Home now and super full :) lunch/dinner was really nice.
Had beef and chicken, loads of carrots and broccoli and peas, gravy (1.5syns), Yorkshire pudding aunt Bessie's type (3syns), tiny bit of stuffing (2syns) and 2small roast potatoes (3syns). Had a teeny sliver of raspberry cheesecake (3.5syns) and a bowl of fruit salad. Lots of food but was so good and I had what I fancied just in little amounts. Filled up mostly on the veg, meat and fruit but the trimmings are the best bit so had to have a taster of each! 12syns total and won't have any more today.

Still got 1/2 hex a and a hex b to use so might have a cheese sandwich if I can stretch the cheese that far later. If not will have a bowl of porridge with fruit instead.

Thanks it wasn't easy not diving head first into the cheesecake but the fruit salad she made was amazing, had strawberries, raspberries, pineapple, grapes and kiwi and was in a massive bowl. Like the size of a big mixing bowl- should have bought some home!
I know we were spoilt! Dinners there are always lovely, not so sw friendly always but tasty all the same.

Grr..Think I have worms, I'm hungry again :(
I'm like a bottomless pit this last couple of days!

Still feel like I could eat a horse, maybe tescos can help me! ;)

Due to immense hungry-ness breakfast was 2xhexb porridge (1/2hexa1) and a banana with a cup of tea (rest of hexa1 will go in drinks)
Lunch- pasta n sauce with added veg
Dinner was going to be a tuna veg pasta bake but due to using 2 b's already its a green day now so will leave out the tuna! If I really want the tuna in there ill could the second hexa porridge as syns and the tuna ad 2nd b but we shall see! If i dont get tuna cravings its now a tomato and vegetable pasta bake with mozzarella (hexa2)

Girls got the beauty and the beast DVD over the weekend so I'm very excited to watch that! My fave Disney film :) Rhyme time this afternoon but should be a quiet day. Have a good one! X

Mine too!!! It's brilliant! X

Ooh, I have that on dvd. I love it too :) I can't wait until Nate is old enough to watch them. He is still at the age of running round and ignoring them. But he will sit and read books with me for hours! Have a nice time at rhyme time :)

Can quorn mince be used to make meatballs? If so you could make the meatball pasta bake from the latest issue of the sw magazine. Then you won't mind no tuna as you'll have pretend meatballs. And it has cheese on top :)

Not happy, turned the house upside down and can't find the new DVD anywhere! Girls keep asking for it and don't understand it's lost, they keep asking where is it lost. They are allowed to play with them though so that's what happens .At the moment they are refusing rhyme time cos all they want is "belle film" but hope I can talk them round. They are used to clicking and everyone jumps so will try my best but won't push it as they just aren't used to doing things they don't want to and it will be a nightmare if we go anyway!

Not tried to make meatballs from quorn but it's got a very dry texture can't see they will stick without adding something else (not sure what- maybe egg? Not sure I have any quorn actually... ) realised I'd have had pasta for lunch and dinner so had couscous with the veg for lunch.
Also had a piece of cake we made for 6syns. It didn't look nice at all (little hands find it hard to mix properly!) so tried some before giving it to the girls didn't want to make them sick but it tasted fine! Think the oven is a bit hit and miss too which didn't help. No syns planned later so even with the cake I can have something later if I fancy it.
Found jungle book so that's keeping them quiet for now!

New shiny car! New shiny car! Home and been oohing and aahing at the pretty new car for the last half hour! Its so gorgeous I love it! Well annoyed though that as mike got a weeks free insurance through the dealer, I'm not insured on it till that runs out and our regular insurance takes over! Boohoo I want to play! Will be skipping home the day I get to drive it though! :)

In other news, dinner was amazing! Was a make it up as i go along dinner and turned out lush! Put pasta to boil. Chopped and fried in frylight a leek, clove of garlic, 2 tomatoes, 2 small peppers (1 red 1 green). Mixed in tin of tomatoes, Shook in some cayenne pepper, Tabasco and mixed in the almost cooked pasta. Layered in dish with torn mozzarella throughout. Baked for 20mins and it was really good! So simple but so tasty. Used a tsp of sweet hot chilli sauce (0.5syn) drizzled over to give it another kick.
