Still here, but next weigh in's not til Monday morning. Have updated this week's tho.

Not very hopeful for this week, cos it's my add a meal week, from the look of the scales at the moment it'll be a pound to a pound and a half, but then hopefully a big loss the following week after my metabolism boost - fx

Hey Curvy - I'm doing All About W8 - it's fantastic. Can't stop raving about it. Loads to eat, mealpaks taste great and their snack bars are delish.

Ohhh that's a new one to me, never heard of it but sounds like it's working for u! I'm on old faithful slimming world, the only diet in the world I can stick to lol x

I used to be a slimming world consultant a number of years back, but had to give it up due to other work commitments. It is a great diet and so easy to stick to because you get so much to eat.

For me though, even though I did lose lots of weight on it which is why I became a consultant, just latterly my attachment to food was getting out of hand. Our family has had a lot of bereavement and illness over the past few years and I turned to food as a comfort.

That's why I'm doing a vcld like All About W8 because it's breaking the cycle of turning to food when i'm sad, happy, bored, etc. and because it's ketogenic, once you're in ketosis you just don't feel hungry at all.

So all's well at the moment. I want to lose 5 stone in total, but once I've conquered the food addiction, I might get back onto SW to get to my goal weight. I know it sounds pathetic, but even being allowed the food I love and having the syns is just too much of a temptation. If I have one piece of chocolate I have to eat the whole bar.

I'm so glad SW is working for you though ;)

Week 1 update... Lost 1 lb :) Was hoping for more but I had a couple of not-so-good days (up to nearly 2000 cal instead of 1000 ooops) and also TOTM. But it's still progress :) Doing 2468 diet in Week 2 so should see a bigger loss hopefully :fingerscrossed: Well done everyone who's showing a loss so far!
