Thanks Irene, she suggested various options including slimming clubs and even a gastric balloon. She did give me a diet sheet which is quite strict, 1200 calories a day and restricted to low-fat foods in the week with a bit more leeway at weekends. Going to give it a go and it it doesn't suit I will try something else.
