Aw great to hear Berry... You will smash it im sure. Well meeee I'm sat in bed with an Easter egg!!! Pure greed.

Oh no honey. Don't worry about it, we all have those days including me. But this time I can't mess up with holiday so near. I think your be fine. We will get there.

Oops! Well, we've all been there. :) Just make sure that if you think you've got chocolate on the sheets and go to lick it up that it really is chocolate. :D

Werent you thinking of Harcombe-ing anyway? Apparently Zoe eats a bar of dark chocolate a day. Though she doesn't need to lose weight, of course. :)

Hey everyone, hope you are all well?

It has been a while since i have been on and since doing so well in the beginning i am losing my way and been avoiding everything including my consultant and all these chat forums. So just a recap I started on 4th August 2014 and first 2 weeks were great I stuck with it and lost 13lbs but then it was the bank holiday and temptation kicked in and i caved for a whole 2 weeks  eating everything and anything. I changed consultants and restarted on the 5th September 2014 where i was focused and determined to get to my graduation which was in January and lose as much as possible and i did i lost 5 stone and 12 pounds going from 17.3 to 11.5 and i was feeling so great that i even wore a dress to graduation. After graduation i was still focus and after taking a few days off here and there for certain events i got down to 10.8 on 16th March 2014 which i never thought i would get to and my life has completely changed with Cambridge diet as i am nothing like i was, i have confidence, enjoy going out and now want too and just a lot more happy with things. Also as i am single and now kind of appeal to guys lol i have been asked out on dates which i have been on and have been great and most recently been meeting up with this one guy in particular but all we seem to do is eat out as the weekday evenings are the only times we can really meet up so makes sense to go to dinner (which is not helpful with this diet. So for the past month or so i have not been on Cambridge and just been eating terribly, i did try make a few attempts to try and get back on it but then would always give in. I have also not been to see my consultant for a while and when i cancel and appointment it kind of gives me the 'get out of jail free card' which gives me the go ahead to eat crap for longer.

I decided to weighted myself yesterday as i have also been avoiding my scales which i would jump on at least 4 times a day when i was on Cambridge and it showed 11.2 :sigh:and i am gutted that i allowed myself to gain so much. i don’t know where my determination and focus has gone but i want and need it back so much, because i really want to get into the 9s and with my brother’s wedding pending ever so closer i am running out of time. So today i came up with a plan the first thing is to get back on the diet so i started and had a morning hot chocolate and lunch oriental soup and for dinner most likely have another hot chocolate. Second, I have also booked my appointment with my consultant for Monday at 7:30pm. Third, i need to come up with other things i can do other than going out for dinner all the time, so i welcome any suggestions and finally, I will start reposting on this site as i know it is so helpful and just keeps me on track.

Hope everyone is having a good day and even though sometimes we may veer off our journey its important we get back on track and that's what i hope to do today get back on track to a slimmer and more healthier me. :D

Hi amaD, your back! Great that you've stopped your recent pattern now and are getting back on track.

I think it's easy to bury your head in the sand and just start to enjoy life after a big loss. I have done that previously .... The good thing for me was that the confidence stayed even although I gained weight and I cared less about the weight. However I wasn't happy and let it go too far. So I am glad you are back to keep in control.

Are you going back to SS or just a few days a week?

Other ideas for midweek stuff to do: a walk in the park, a picnic in the park that you can make and control, just drinks, bike ride, I guess these are not first date ideas however. Depends on how well you know the person! Last resort is always to just have chicken!

It is so nice to hear from you JulieH333, and day one is over with and stuck with it even though i was ordered to get fish and chips for everyone, but the main thing is i resisted which is a bonus as lately my willpower has been non existent. My confidence has grown immensely and though i have put on about half a stone i can feel myself loosing it as the weight increases and i never want to be how i was so its better late than never!!!

I am back on SS and hoping to stay on it until the 8th May when its my sisters birthday and i will be going to London to celebrate and i will have that day off but then get straight back on it, i hope to be mid 10's by then. After my sisters birthday then i have nothing until the 4th July when its my brothers registry wedding and then i hope to be at least 9 something (preferably low 9s) and then after that September is the full on Asian wedding which I am aiming to be in the 8s for (which will take a miracle). So a lot to keep me motivated but its just not happening lol

thanks for the ideas and with the weather being nice hopefully being out and doing more active things like walking or biking around are things we can do, but its kinda awkward because i don't know him that well and don't really want to say i'm doing the Cambridge diet so cant eat out, But he is currently training for a boxing match so at the beginning alcohol was pretty much a standard thing for us but now he's gone t-total which means i am too now and food wise we do go nandos quite a bit which i suppose we could pick worse places, so hopefully if we do eat out its nandos based but with me i am an all or nothing kind of person so when i am on SS i need to be 100% otherwise i completely go off the track but guess i need to work that out myself and SS isn't something i can be on forever and i need to learn to balance my diet when i am off SS if that makes sense.

And well done you have done so good to keep at it and being only 2lbs away from goal :D!!!

AmaD so nice to hear from you. Why don't you do SS still but so SS+ when you are out on a date with him? :D Nandos or harvester are always good choices hun. Within a 4 solid days you will be back in the 10stones bracket for sure. You've done amaziling well. Xxx

First shake strawberry:) can't believe I weigh in 2 days. This week has flown by. Amad - well done for getting back on track have a good week. When does everyone get weighed.

I totally get what you mean about SS. In some ways it's really simple and easy and you don't need to think about it. Socialising is hard though.

Great that you're seeing someone who is focused on fitness and health. That should help.

Yeah I'm doing good. I've not had a weigh in with CDC for 2 weeks. It's tomorrow. So can't wait to see what I've officially lost. Will definitely be below target. But after this week I am setting a new target of 10st 7lbs. So maybe another 4 weeks to get to that. But it's so close!!

Gosh its good to be back and readying posts again how i have missed it!!
Honey-J i think that's what i will do and even if its one meal a week as long as its on SS+ i should be fine and the other days i will make sure we do other stuff.
Berry1- i get weighed Monday at 7:30pm so by 8pm i will come back and post lol i always thought working would be when i found it hardest but when i am at work i am often so busy that i don't realise the time and dont have the hunger but when i am home its like i make up for it lol but i am on day 2 and have been good so far and already back in the 10s which i am grateful for and tomorrow having weigh in in the evening will stop me binge eating and then it'll be day 3 and after that its meant to get easier (I hope) lol
JulieHH333- that is fantastic and yes so close just stay focused ive realised the closer i got the harder i found it be stick with it but i have motivation back and will get into the 9s by July.

Also i never like summer because i would never want to wear things that showed my flabby arms or nothing ever looked nice so would always cover up but this summer i'm excited to strip down to a reasonable standard and going to London next week will be so nice. AND i have to wear a uniform to work which is a pencil skirt and i would of died of humiliation had i had to wear it 17 stone but now i even get a second glance from some of the doctors which is always nice and a bit of a confidence boost lol. BUT yes staying focused and the more i type and read on this site it really helps and does keep me going to thanks ladies and we all will get to our own individuals targets this year!!!

Weigh day tomorrow eeeeekkkk :) couldnt help myself but had a peak on scales and could of loss 7lbs. So far chocolate shake, 1 hour of walking and lots of water.

Well done Berry1 that's certainly a motivation to keep going and good luck tomorrow may even be 8lbs by tomorrrow :D

I had weigh in today and whilst i have been off the diet for a while i am so chuffed to have gained a pound and a half, and by next weigh in which is on Tuesday 5th I hope to get into the low 10s and as a bonus i have passed day 3, so all positive things. I am even going to the cinema on Wednesday rather than eating so can most certainly keep this up until the 8th May which will be my treat.

How is everyone getting on?
