Hi, my name is Rachel, I'm a 44 year old bride to be, currently a size 18 (5'7" and 14 st 8) and I've optimistically bought a size 12 wedding dress for 11th June this year - 4 months away.
I'm hoping if I stick to a low carb diet or even a vlc shakes diet for a while that I can lose a stone a month and fit my dress.
Has anyone here lost 4 stones and 3-4 dress sizes in 4 months? Do you think it's possible or am I kidding myself?
Prepared to work hard for it and seeking support!

Your better off sticking to one diet.

A vlcd is going to get you there but can be quite difficult.

You'll also find members reporting losing inches but not weight on other diets like sw. Inches being far more important than actual weight.

Look at Kay's challenge and the success members have had.

Her challenge runs for a quarter at a time, 3 months so we're about 5-6 weeks in!

Hope that helps.

I've had a little success with low carbing and today I started a VLCD (Slim n Save). Determined to stick to it for the next 10 weeks and look fab in my wedding dress! Good luck to all the other newbies posting here.
