Rayven

Addicted to Minimins!
*sings* - I'm so excited, and i just can't hide it.....I'm about to lose control and i think i like it!

Ok, ok....so i know i'm crazy, but who else is excited about losing lots of weight??? Me, ME!!!!
It's the weekend, a trying time for lots of CDers...but over the weekend (if we stick to it 100%) it could change our weekly weight loss significantly. :D

Any tips for surviving the weekend & all the pit falls that we're faced with????
How does everyone intend on getting through it?

Morning everyone,

Well i finally did it. Into the 12st's (12st12) today!!! WHOOO. lost 3 lbs and a quarter this week which for me is a good loss(as many know my losses have slowed considerably) but im happy with that and will plod on. Been really sick with flu,not the stuffy nose kind but the really painful body aches and migraines and high fever. could hardly walk for 2 days!! Just now starting to feel better but still weak. couldnt exercise at all. hopefully will be back to normal by monday.

Good luck to anyone with WI today. Have a really good day. Must go adjust my ticker!!

Morning all :)

Havnet been on the board much as been dead busy trying to sort stuff out...

I reall struggled with doing the 810 week this week as I couldnt eat the quantities required... I just felt sick...
So am going to do sf
s+ next week instead, build up a bit slower..

On the good side, over the last couple of days, i have drank 4 litres water a day so am hoping for some sort of loss Monday even though I have 810'd for part of the week.

weekends are always tough for me too, not because I get hungry, but the change of pace always leaves me a bit down..
So for me itsjust a case of keeping busy busy busy...

Bought a new swimsuit yesterday :)
For some reason my size 24 wouldnt have afforded much modesty ROFL!!!
The 14 I chose slipped on like a glove and I am looking forward to swimming each day next week, to try to tighten some of my saggy bits!!
Hope you all have a good weekend!

x

Oops edited to say...Well done on your WEIGHTLOSS well and good,,, I ramble so much i always forget to say what I intend to say first!!!

xx

Oh forgot to say how i plan to get through the weekend...

Basically just keeping busy. Got 4 kids and they will keep me occupied as the weather is good and we can get out and about. We have a policy in our house that junk food is only allowed once a week and the weekend is NOT those days. So it isnt in the house for me to pick at when im home. If the kids want a treat, they get it outside , on the day, but try not to keep it in home. they understand by this point and are ok with it. So if you look in my cupboards you wont find biscuits or chocolates, just a bit of bread and pasta etc which i dont crave anyway.....I think its about planning ahead, if you know you are likely to pick or cheat, plan some time away from the house or keep really busy as a distraction:family2:

Morning all!!

Well done on the loss Denise- into the 12's yaaayy!! hope to join you when I have my next WI! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Tilly- sorry you struggled with 810, I ended up splitting my meal because it is alot to get through when you've not been eating for a while.

Weekends... shouldn't make a difference to me (as Im on matty leave and it sometimes feels like a bit of a long holiday!) but they are harder, think its mainly that I've got into the habit of thinking 'oh its the weekend, I'll treat myself to x,y and z!'

Heres for 100% days folks, hope the suns out where you are, lovely here.

Morning,
Yes. weekends are hard as my OH is off from work and in and out kitchen, making sarnies and stuff. Then if we go out theres the case of ice cream or burger, but sod it all, I'd rather lose the extra pounds!!
I don't really have a coping stategy, I just deal with it and sip my water, ha ha.
Good luck and stay strong xx

weekends are hard for me too, my dh finishes work at 12 today til monday and he eats loads(size 30 waist makes me sick). gonna take the dog out and keep busy ironing etc today. good luck for the weekend everyone xxx

Good Morning everyone!

Well done on your good loss Denise! I had my weigh-in this morning and only lost 2lbs. I feel a bit disappointed but am not surprised as I had a meal off plan last weekend and a run in with a bag of crisps on Thursday. This weekend I have 2 meals off plan (my birthday -woohoo!) and so I will be 100% from Monday onwards to try and ensure a loss next week as well.

In a couple of hours I'm going to my favourite restaurant Tayyabs (curry house) with friends and family and I can't wait! We normally can't be bothered to drive into London for a meal but as it's my birthday it's my choice :D.

Tomorrow we're going to a christening with a catered buffet after. I'm going to see if I can manage without eating, but won't make a fuss if I feel I have to eat to not draw attention to myself. We've also got a BBQ tonight if the weather holds but I'm not eating. I'll be busy being a hostess and hope that no one will notice.

Have a great weekend everyone! :character00238::character00238::character00238:

Well i'm going to my mum and dads for the weekend, we go probably twice a month and it's always a boozy weekend with gorgeous food (my mums a good cook), but i've pre-warned her that I won't be eating this weekend or drinking (which will be hard but i'm determined) gonna treat myself with a few sparkling waters. When I get there i'm going for a pedicure to treat myself for my efforts this week. Have a good weekend everyone and be good!!!

Morning everyone :)

I took my measurements this morning to motvate myself and I've lost 31.5 inches so far and a whooping 13.5 inches of that if off my bum LOL.... never lost that amount off one place before. I'm gonna keep noting my measurements as I haven't been and boy do I need the motivation while my body is hanging on to the last 9 lbs for dear life!

Tilly, well done on drinking so much water and for trying 810. Did you try splitting the foodie portions up so you don't have to eat so much at once?

Wellandgood, i wonder have you the same bug as me...all achey but with a very sore throat....and it's my TOTM if it would ever come!!! arg. Hope you're feeling back to yourself soon.

Rayven, great to see you and your positivity on here, good luck with your first week back.

Angela, you're sounding more like yourself too yay!!!! :)

Hi to everyone else too. Lets all have a fab saturday, Stay 100% and focused on your goals.

I did my first ever comparison pic yesterday which is now on my fridge door to remind me to keep going.

Have a great one xxx hugs x

ps- bra fitting today (Caroline I hope you've finally had one done hahhhahhaha)

Good morning Rayven, great to see someone so positive, especially so early! I'm with you on that one though, I'm slightly up from yesterday weight wise, but 3lbs down from Monday, which considering I'm on the 1000 plan, I'm happy with! Going to make sure I keep 100% this weekend and want another 1lb off. The only thing I don't like is that my weigh in is at 7pm, so I've got a full day off food in me!!

Aw Denise that doesn't sound like fun at all, especially not on a diet such as CD. I hope you feel completely better real soon!

Hey Tilly, we've missed having you around! Must feel amazing to be that 14 now! I want to get into swimming again too, is a 30 mile round trip to my swimming pool, which always puts me off! Sounds like SS+ is a good idea, I'm sure you'll still have lost on 810 though. Well done on the water, I wish I was as good! I don't think I get my 2.25L a day, I really need to fix this!!

Alli I'm sure that as long as you're a little careful, try to go for the healthier options where possible, and don't go mad with sides, you'll be fine and get the extra pounds off soon enough! One tip though, naan bread - beware!! Is obviously full of carbs and I'm pretty sure I've been told poppadoms are better for you than naan bread on carb levels, though can't be certain so don't take me as gospel!

On the 1000 plan you have a couple of meals plus 2 CD packs, do you guys think it'll be affecting my weight loss by me only having 1 pack sometimes? I'm meant to have a second pack with lunch but I'm usually not hungry enough for that. And I think I've only ended up having 2 once this week, and even then didn't finish it! The thing is I feel fine, but I don't know whether I'm sabotaging my loss at the same time as not doing myself any good, if that makes sense. I never plan to not have my second one, it just doesn't end up happening!

To be a bit more positive though, I'm liking the 1000 plan. "I'm liking that I'm still losing, while still beng able to eat some food, having more flexibility, and I also like that it gets my family off my back! My mum kept doing the whole please be careful and saying she wasn't sure about it all. My sister who is a clinical nurse specialist and who herself lost a lot of weight through weight watchers and the like has made it quite clear what she thinks of the diet and that I should be losing it more healthily, but not in a nasty way! It just makes it all the more difficult to do a diet like this when you're family aren't completely supporting you in that.

Hahaha Sunshine, nope, still no bra fitting for me!! I'm not baring my boobs (if you can call them that!) or my stomach to some woman while she measures me, in front of a mirror no doubt too! I have measured myself though and bought a couple new bras as my others were too big on the back size, and they fit well, so think I'm ok there!

LOL Caroline that's naughty hahhahahahaha! after all we talked about. When i used the measurments someone gave us back then (the how to measure ourselves..remember?)...i came out as an A cup. It was so wrong as I'm officially a D, 32 D. (according to my last fitting the day after we talked about it) I'll see now today if there's a change as I've lost a couple of inches off my bust. You so should go. They see so many shapes and sizes and really aren't bothered. I was once a Personal Shopper and I'd take my ladies over to the underwear dept to get fitted and the difference was unbelievable. Anyway hun..... one day you'll go when you're ready. I'll keep asking lol xxx

Hugs xxx

ps. glad to hear your liking 1000....and still losing, that's good to know

Hmmm, but I figure if my bras are fitting me well, then I must be doing it right! One day I'll go... one day! I'll just take someone with me. Do they do it over your bra or get you to go completely topless? Can't they just measure over your clothes?! I mean, if you're wearing a shirt for example, it won't make a difference!! Silly silly people!

Marks don't even use a tape. You leave you own bra on. They look at you, ask you a few questions, go get you some new bra's to try and they step out of the fitting room while you change only coming back in when you say so.

But yeah as long as your back strap isn't riding up....as that's a sign the bra is too big. The bit at the front inbetween your boobs is sitting flat to your body, there's no boob spilling out over the cup and the side of the bra is actually at the side of your bust ....you're fine :)

As long as you're comfy thats the main thing.

xxx

I struggle with wkends because my OH works evenings so i'm on my own and i get bored...i'll be alright tho bath, big brother then bed i think.

Good morning losers!! Well done Denise know how much you wanted that sorry to hear you have been poorly. Tilly im struggling with 810 its a lot to fit in when your not used to eating but I found yesterday that the hunger that I havent had for so long came back and reared its ugly head and that wasnt pleasant...but kept going and weight has moved another 1.75lbs this morning so hopefully will be more by tues which is my weigh day. Good luck to everyone and heres hoping for a good 100% day xxx

Well its twenty to twelve & I've had a bit of water but haven't managed any shakes yet. Have a cracking headache, backache and feel sick - totally unrelated to ss though, its TOTM and its a BAD one! :( However the nausea is helping me stick to ss as i don't think i could manage anything to eat even if i wanted to! :)
The hubby wanted to go to an all you can eat chinese tonight but i think i've thrown him off that idea - don't think that kind of social event is something i wanna do on day one! ;)

Struggled over lunch!

Well, so far so good. I struggled a bit over lunch (which i didn't think i would) as i bought some gorgeous granary bread yesterday (hadn't decided to re-start again until this morning) and the girls were having it toasted. The smell was almost too much to bare! But i kept my resolve & didn't have any. My tummy is making some rather unusual noises but at least my headache has gone! :D
