Snow's healthy living ramblings

Fingers crossed you get the loss you want on tues! :)

Hope you're feeling better now

And the reason for my migraine is now explained as I've just come on. (And eaten another two tunnocks tea cakes) but if I came on today, then today's weigh will have included any *week related water retention wouldn't it. I can never really tell if * week causes me to gain etc as I am really irregular (due to my weight) well over syns for today as I had a little bit of extra cheese at dinner.

Syns for today
5 chocolate
15 syns for 3 tea cakes :)eek:)
4 aldi skips
just realises i don't need to syn the dinner cheese as I put 75 g of light cream cheese in the sauce and 30g of extra mature cheddar on top but it was for me and OH so when halfed it's a HEA) so 24 syns.

Got some strawberries to have for pudding in a bit.

Thanks Kally

Just finished my cotton candy grapes which were even more cotton candyish than the last batch.

Trying to think what to do for tea tonight that is quick and easy as i'm really tired. It needs to use my HEA as well so it might be pasta and sauce with added veg and cheese on top with - maybe with a tuna steak as I have some frozen ones and am trying to up the oily fish.

Hmm I love tuna steak.. I may have a look in asda and see if they have any!
I live right by the sea though, so there's no excuse not to go to a fishmongers..

Haha well I must have used the tuna up and not remembered so instead I am doing bbq pork and rice. Trying to decide between have hard cheese melted on the Bbq and plain brocolli for healthy a or brocolli in cheese sauce and no cheese on the bbq :)

I always have some frozen fish and frozen veg in for easy slimming world dinners.

It was lush - the bbq sauce was just a variation on diet coke chicken sauce (diet coke, passata, splash of soy, worcester and balsamic vinegar, bit of very lazy chilli and boiled down.) Frylighted the pork with bbq frylight and then fried and then put the sauce on.

The scales at home have gone back up to what i was last tuesday morning though which is disappointing as they were showing a couple of pounds lighter yesterday. Will see what the official scales say tonight - I spend all of tuesday wishing the day away!

B: Porridge (HEB) 1 syn for tsb options and 5.5 syns of nuts, plus an apple
L: Speed tomato soup + nectarine
D: Undecided. Might do smoked salmon pasta bake, could count today as a green day and have the salmon as my other b choice and then have two lots of cheese but might want something quick after weigh in so maybe steak

Snacks
Aldi melts (skip knock offs) 4 syns
Cotton candy grapes

Syns
5.5 nuts
1 options
4 skips
10.5/20 so far

Aww, fingers crossed the scales are nice tonight.

Also I would deffo be moving in if you have that salmon pasta bake ;)

Just reminded me that I have steak and chicken thighs in the freezer. I'm going to have to remember to defrost them at some point!

I should probably say that my smoked salmon pasta bake involves using the smart price scrappy smoked salmon before you all think it's great. (It is nice though. I think I will do that as I was in work early so will get a chance to go home before weigh in so can do most of the prep before hand!

I will be disappointed if * week means I don't get a good loss after I gave up bread for a week but if that does happen then it should show next week right? The scales at home have been a bit all over the place really lately - I do keep saying I'm going to stop looking at them but because of the study if I don't look when I'm on I can log in and see what it said which is a bad habit.

I made smoked salmon pasta but not baked because I messed around on the internet when I got in from work instead of making it. I used 150g philli light in the sauce, 120g smoked salmon trimmings and 200g frozen spinach plus a pinch of italian herb mix. This was for two so 75g of philli for me (HEA) and 60g Salmon (HEB2 on Green) and then had 30g mature cheddar (HEA2)

I lost 3.5lb tonight which I was really pleased about as I have been obsessing a bit about the scales - and I cut out bread! I was slimmer of the week too.

The study scales are baffling me as they do show a 3.5lb loss but they did last week too and I only lost half. Then they showed 24st3lb at the weekend before TOTM started when I went back to 24st6.5lb . I am going to hope last week was a blip and they are quite similar to official scales as they have been in the past but I know I shouldn't rely on them.

Dinner and my certificate :)
