Sole source v 790 plan

    I spoke very breifly to my counsellor last week about possibly goin gon the 790 plan and she said that the weight loss is a lot different to SS. How has everyone else found this? I stayed the same last week and had been good. When I did weightwatchers once and I stayed the same, the leader told me to increase my points for one week and believe it or not I actually lost weight. I wondered whether this may be the same with the cambridge diet.

    This is my second week on 790 and this second week my weigh has stayed exactly the same.....I am hearing different things about SS vs 790....

    The weight and inch loss across the month is virtually the same on both programmes.

    I have had lots of clients do all their weightloss on 790 cals without a problem.

  5. Hi. I've been on 790 from the start and I'm loving it. I seem to be losing on average 3lbs a week which I'm very happy with. I've lost 2 stone in 7 weeks. I haven't done SS so sorry I can't compare but I'm planning to stay on 790 for the duration...unless weightloss starts to slow down anyway.

    Don't diet anymore!
    790 and Sole Source have very similar losses. If you move from SS to 790 then the first week tends to mean you retain some water but after that the losses kick back in.

    Therefore 790 is a fab way to lose weight and not true that the difference in loss is high.

    Thank you. My counsellor actually put me off changing but I think I am going to do it this week. I have got a big wedding in the middle of April and I want to enjoy it so I figured I need to start introducing some food so that I don't put loads of weight back on.
