Awww thanks guys.
Wannabeslim, you reminded me of a family bbq last year at my sis in laws house. All my hubbys were there & almost last to arrive was his aunt who we usually only see every blue moon. She walked straight up to me & said in a loud voice 'god you've got really fat' I smiled very sweetly & replied 'thanks, I have been trying'!!! It shut her up but I hurt like hell the rest of the day & got very drunk cos I was too embarressed to eat! Can't wait to see her again at sis in laws bbq in a few weeks time!!!!! xx

How rude! I always think of witty put downs way after the event, and curse myself for not being quicker. I'm lucky though cos I don't think I have ever had any nasty weight/appearance related insults - well, not to my face anyway.
