Hi Everyone!

As I'm a SW newbie, I thought it would be a good idea to start a diary to keep track and hopefully to keep me on the straight and narrow!!

I started SW on Fri 19th Feb so will list what I've eaten so far - maybe some experts can tell me what they think?

Fri

B - 28g Special K with strawberries, blueberries, banana & 0% Greek yogurt.

L – Jacket potato with tuna, sweetcorn & red onion & LC light cheese. Big mixed salad. Pineapple

D – Linguine with king prawns, red onion, tomato & chilli. Pineapple & Strawberries

Reduced calorie mayo 2.0

Sat

B - Strawberries, blueberries, banana topped with 0% Greek yogurt.

D- Seafood stew with Uncle Ben’s Mexican rice. Big bowl of pineapple & fat free natural yogurt.

Sun

B - Strawberries, blueberries, banana topped with 0% Greek yogurt.

L – leftover seafood stew with slimming world chips. Apple & plums

D – Mediterranean style shepherds pie (yum!) with carrots, broccoli, mange tout & sugar snap peas. Summer fruits & pineapple with fat free natural yogurt

Mon

B - Strawberries, blueberries, banana topped with 0% Greek yogurt.

L – ½ Jacket potato with low fat cottage cheese and big mixed salad. Banana & Apple

D – SW Lasagne, ½ jacket potato & big mixed salad. Pineapple & strawberries.

Tue

B - Strawberries, blueberries, banana topped with 0% Greek yogurt. 2 Alpen lights

L- Chicken & Bacon salad. Banana & apple.

D – Vegetable linguine. Pineapple

L - Jacket potato with beans and sprinkle of cheese & salad. Apple

D - Gammon, big salad & jacket potato. Pineapple. Banana

I've neglected this so will start again!

Today was an EE day and I've eaten:

Breakfast - strawberries, pineapple & banana with total zero greek yogurt that I mix with a sprinkle of sweetner and a pinch of cinnamon.

Lunch - I was out and about so had the fish sushi box from tesco (4.5 syns) Apple & Plum.

Snack - pineapple

Dinner - I made a spicy seafood (prawns, mussels & squid) stew with loads of superfree veggies (onion, garlic, red & yellow peppers, sweetcorn, tomatoes & celery). Had this with sweet potato mash, sugar snap peas and broccoli. Had a bowl of pineapple for dessert.

Healthy A - semi skimmed milk
Healthy B - ooops, not had one so might have an alpen light bar in a bit!

Syns - glass of red wine 8.5

Think that covers my munching for today!

SparklyGirl's SW food diary - finally updated!

Today will be another EE day.

Just had magic porridge for breakfast for the first time - was really yummy and will definitely have it again!

I mixed it with sweetened zero greek yogurt and added a grated apple and some cinnamon.

Not sure what I'm going to eat for the rest of the day so will update later x

Hi, thankyou for sharing your diaries, your food sounds so delicious. You do eat a lot of pineapple don't you :) Its making me think, I lost 4lbs this week and have eaten quite a lot of fresh pineapple too so maybe there is some sort of magic elixir in it, wishful thinking I know but how great would it be if something so delicious helped shift the pounds :) Well done on your fantastic losses so far, I'll be reading your diaries every day x

I've slacked on the updating already!

Yesterday's lunch was linguine with grilled chicken and red & yellow peppers in a spicy tomaoto sauce.

Snack was a giant apple!

For dinner I had left over fish stew and veggies. Pineapple and strawberries for dessert and a glass of red wine (8.5 syns)

A choice was milk.

Today's breakfast was an apple & banana with a muller lemon cheesecake yogurt (1 syn)

Lunch was a tomato, mushroom and ham omelette with salad. I had two laughing cow light triangles in it and it worked quite well instead of normal cheese. I used 1 teaspoon of olive oil so 2.5 syns.

Snack was pineapple and zero greek yogurt with cinnamon.

Can't decide what to have for dinner - I fancy slimming world chips but not sure what I fancy with them........decisions, decisions!

Dinner was chicken breast stuffed with low fat cream cheese (2 syns?), sliced mushroom, red onion, lots of fresh basil and a bit of chopped red chilli. Wrapped it in palma ham (not sure if palma ham is free or not?) I had it with SW chips and a big salad. Was delicious! Dessert was a big bowl of strawberries and pineapple.

Healthy A was skimmed milk and 2 laughing cow light triangles.
B will be an alpen light bar.

Monday's nosh

Decided on a green day for a change.

B - pineapple, strawberries, blueberries and banana with cinnamon total zero greek yogurt.

L - Spicy veggie rice - threw red onion, garlic, chillies, sweetcorn, mushrooms, celery, peppers and cherry tomatoes in with a tin of tomatoes and loads of basil. Then mixed into into some Uncle ben's mexican rice. Was tasty and dead quick to make.

Snack - 2 plums & an apple

D - Jacket potato with cheese (A) and baked beans and a big mixed salad. Had pineapple and strawberries for dessert.

Syns - 1 caremalised biscuit 1.5 and rice 2.5.
