Struggling near target...join us for encouragment

Helloooo im back :p, hows everyone getting on? I'm doing a bit of both diets at the moment (CD and SW) and have 2lbs to go til target again! Im having my shakes in the day then a SW main meal and syns. I gained badly and had to kick start myself again:copon:

Nice to see you again. Laura had her twin girls on 19th May, 8 weeks premature. Both are doing really well I am glad to say.

Well done on only having 2lbs to shift. Should be really easy (she says). Hope all is well with you
 
I can so relate to this. Fear of success as much as fear of failure. I have given myself loads of reasons to fail over the last few weeks. Instead of seeing the 32lbs or so I have lost, I am seeing the 6lbs gained = big fat failure!!! I was desperate to start again this week but forgot to take into account the 12 mile charity walk I am doing this Sunday and cannot possibly take that on by doing SS. Not sure how to go about the CD plan this week because of the walk. Any tips and advice would be gratefully received.

Oh Im totally the same - giving myself reasons to fail. Ive spent the last few weeks giving myself excuses to eat, and almost HOPING things will go wrong for me so I can have a meal of comfort food!

I say no time like the present, start right this very second, even if youve just eaten, dont wait till tomorrow and eat everything you can (like I did yesterday and put on 2lbs in the process!) start NOW!

With regards to your walk, you have a few options, you can either SS and then on the day itself move up and have an 810 day or even 1000, or else have a steady week on 1000 and move down the plans to SS once you feel more motivated. But thats just my opinion, perhaps a CDC could help you out more.

Either way we can do this! Just one step at a time I guess.. good luck :) xxxx

You are a woman after my own heart lol. Why do we do it to ourselves? You are right though, starting this very second!!!!

I will wait to see if KD or one of the other wise people advise on what to eat for the walk but I like the sound of 810 or 1000 and then going down to SS+ next week. Thank you for that. Also your photos are fantastic!!!

Lily Eve weighed in at 3lbs 11ozs and Daisy Grace was 3lbs 7ozs. They are both over birth weight now and feeding from bottles. They also both breathed unaided from the off!!!
 
What lovely names, bless. Too breath unaided aswell, little fighters. You will have to PM me a photo. At least she got girls, they are so much easier than naughty boys! Pass her my congratulations and I am really pleased everthing went ok x

Trip, how is it going doing SW/CD?? Hope your ok. Im still maintaining at the minute, Im at original target (9st 7lbs) But have set a new one of 9st as long as I maintain at the minute Im happy!

Gluttons for punishment?? Its like any excuse is a good excuse for food. i eat when Im celebrating, I eat when things go wrong, I eat just for the sake of eating.. hell I even convince myself Im ill so I can have a meal... yet very rarely do I eat because Im hungry?
 
Day five for me & nothing has passed my lips that shouldn't have done!! Don't know where I've got this willpower from at the minute, but I hope I can keep it up!! Weigh in tomorrow....

Good Luck for tomorrow ZoBo bet you have done great!This is really vain, but .............. So many people at work tell me how good I look and notice how much weight I have lost. It has given me such a boost and each time I come to work (only 2 days a week) at least 5 people make positive comments......It keeps me going.

It's the comments that gives you the buzz isn't it? Really makes you feel like carrying on regardless of how hard it gets.

Well done everyone on sticking with it. Day 3 again for me and 100% so far :)
 
Well I've abstained for another day!! Anyway, I've lost 2lb which I'm pleased with as it takes me to 1lb from my original target....

Well done zobo, you are so close :) It's going ok Hels thanks, a bit of a shock first but have now got it balanced. I'm sat here eating my cranberry CD bar....one item I just can't give up!
 
Well day 8 & I've still no "urge" to sabotage.... Let's hope it stays that way!
I'm going to lower my target to 8st 7lb, so technically I still have 8lb to lose.... I'm not changing my ticker yet though as I NEED to see it say 0lb to lose for the satisfaction of "getting there".... lol I will change it then.

Not a bad day today, just kept myself busy cleaning & sorting all the kids things out for tomorrow.... My mum is also back on cd after a break for a few weeks. She stays here on a wed & thur as my df is away. So hopefully having someone to share all the ups & downs with again might make it a little bit easier....

I have WI tomorrow, and its been 2 weeks nearly. I have been on my Wii tonight and it confirmed what I know, I have put on 1lb.

To be fair, I have been off CD since last WI and have had the odd shake here or there, and have been eating smaller but healthy portions of food. I have been back to my comfort zone of nibbling on an evening, albeit healthy stuff but still not good.
I think I have got in that frame of mind that its holidays on Thursday then straight on to SW when i get back to get rid of the holiday bulge and get me to 9st target. I even had Mc D's today. Eeek.

Glad to hear its going well Trip. How are you working things?? Shake for breakfast, lunch then a SW evening meal or something??

Has anone heard from Katycakes? She must have jet lag lol!
 
Am lurking, Hels! Don't worry, still here and still OK, have found it harder to make good choices since coming home, but learning all the time, and weight still under target so not going to panic. You are all doing so well... anyone coming over to the maintenance thread soon?
