Don't know what to do....I have lost the will to go on with this diet.
Was doing OK, then hunger came back, feel ill, am really down and just want to eat.
All I seem to do is go to work, come home, long bath and then bed...that's my day in a nutshell.
Am thinking that nothing is worth feeling so low and looking pretty rough.
Somebody, please, talk me out of chucking it on after 3 and a half weeks!!!

OH mate sorry to hear you are feeling so rubbish. Do you need talking out of eating or is eating the answer? You shouldn't be feeling unwell hun, is it to do with LT?
You have lost a stone and a half in just over 3weeks so you are obviously doing well and it would be a real shame to give up now but your health has to come first.
You are in the 4th week and i remember it well, it was hell on earth so if you can get through it, it should get better.
Do you want to keep going?

((hugs)) you've pretty much summed up LT for me, lol! I tend to have lots of early nights...

Look at this way (this is what I do)...its so close to bedtime, you'd feel awful if you caved now - go have a bath, go to bed, read a book...

The other thing I think of - what food is worth caving for? For me, personally, it'd have to be something bl**dy good, if you see what i mean? I'd hate to throw away the past few weeks on a marmite butty lol!

You've come SO far, you're through the worst, its awful not feeling well, so far on LT I had the norovirus in week 1 (where all I wanted was tea and toast) it was bl**dy hard not giving in..then last week I had the most horrendous migraine and was soooo close to eating..but then the other side of me (I'm sure I have split personality) gave me a telling off and having come so far to keep at it.

I so know how you feel though, please keep at it, think of your goals? I want to be slim for the summer festivals and gigs, a family wedding and not be 'the fat one'.

Believe me though I have felt, and still do, how you are feeling right now and I'm sending you lots of hugs :)

Jax I'm at same length as you timewise on LT, got my 4th WI in morning and I'm feeling exactly what you're feeling right now. I can't be bothered, very tired and lethargic, hungry again and just plain fed up with it. Been to tescos tonight and seen all the nice light choices things I could be having and its got me down.

I'll make a deal with you Jax, if you are willing to see this through then I will too, bad feeling or no bad feeling because at the end of it I'm sure we'll both be a lot happier.

Keep your chin up, let me know how you get on xx

    Hey,
I too felt like this yesterday on the CD diet, so i decided to eat as of today!!! Big Huge Mistake.... I feel like a total let down and realised that being on the diet wasnt all that bad, and the bloated, sluggish feeling has already returned. As of tomorrow im back on it with a vengeance. Keep going and you will get past it.... Good luck x

    HANGING TOUGH

hey, the reason that you are on the diet is probably cos you didnt feel so great in the first place, if you go back to eatting you will feel just as abd as you did before you started TFR!!!

Yeah you might be getting it tough now but it is a short term thing, you are paying the price to get slim and it will be worth it!!!

You might be feeling that you can't continue but what are your options???

a.) start eating and go back to square one and feel bad
b.) hang in there, stay strong, and in a few weeks/months look and feel amazing

Hmmm.... its a long term thing - with short term sacrifice.

The rewards are amazing - so hang in there!!!

If you go back to eating, you will more than likely feel annoyed at yourself and then comfort eat more and then put weight back on, maybe more, and then where will you be... long term misery and stacking up future health problems etc.

Stay on track - push through this time, when spring comes in you will be buzzing with energy and looking sexy! :) oh yes!!!

I dont know why this post made me think of this song, but it did, and its sucha blast from the past I just had to share it :D

As the Glee kids say (well Journey before them obviously!) Don't stop believing!!!!

You can do this. Each day is a victory, think of how strong you are to come this far. Dont let those gremlins tell you you cant do it, that its too tough because you can. You have already come so far and its working.

The first weigh in is amazing and like a high the second can sometimes be a bit of a come down because its not as high as the first. But realistically its still super amazing.

My day seems longer now than it did before but I try to do other stuff to keep me occupied. I also have to shop and cook tea for the kids which is sooooo hard but I keep thinking if I get through this day tomorrow is a day closer to my goal.

    You can do it!!!!

    Awwwww...love yo girls xxxxxxxx
You are just what I need in times like this....everything you have all said, is so true. Thank you for the hugs and the support.
I didn't cave in and today is another day...I have picked myself up , brushed myself down, took a long deep breath and head high, onward we go !
I have knocked myself out of Ketosis (by picking the last 2 days) but, am confident that I should return to 'Keto-land' in the 24 hours and that should be a more comfy feeling?

I am off to work now but, just wanted to tell you all how wonderful you are.
What would we do without this group support!

Have a good day everyone xxxxxxxxxxxx

You little devil you kept that one quiet;)
No wonder you were feeling so hungry! Hopefully you realise now how easy it is to come out of ketosis and how not worth it, it is.
Really glad you are feeling better today and back on track, you will thank yourself for it. :D

Hi Girls, I am new to this, find reading your posts really helps. I started last friday and couldnt hold them down, ended up eating that night and all day saturday. Started again Sunday so this is only day three. how long does it take for the headaches to go and to start feeling better? Is it better or easier in week 2?

    thanks Nel

    Hi Nel

Today is day 13 for me and my desk is opposite the kitchen. On the same floor is a fully equipped kitchen where everyone is busy making pancakes! The smell permeates through the building. I can honestly say I really do not want any. I dont feel hungry. My body tells me when I need my next shake and I can feel it calling now! But hunger, can honestly say no real hunger pangs and I dont go to bed at night feeling hungry.

It really does get better and the first week is the toughest. I still get good days and bad days but it is so worth it. So far in 13 days I have lost 12lbs....... not bad going and I can see and feel such a big difference already.

The first few days were awful for me and I caved in and had a slice of bread and some cheese on day 5. I just felt desperate to eat something. But felt so demotivated afterwards and now use that feeling to motivate myself. I know how cross and upset I was with myself for giving in I dont ever want to feel that again. So I take each day one at a time and now I'm 13 days in. I hope to keep going for as long as I can.

Hope you feel better soon xx
