thanks everyone ,your great for support ,
l have just had a good read at my food diary and to be honest l have stayed with in points. BUT have eaten a lot of cab's and sugar treats eg: biscuits, fun-sized choc so ld say that's the problem going to go easy on treats and will try to bulk up my food intake with better choices and see what happens next weigh-in

for me to lose weight at a rate i like i had to cut out my chocolate and crisps as it just made me stay the same :(

Yeah carbs can be evil at times! Even the low point ones, I suppose its just alot of bulk isnt it. Too much cereal does it to me. Least you have found the reason, now heres to a mega loss next week! X x

At least you've pinpointed a possible reason for the STS if I have sugar my stomach bloats out really huge and I can gain upto 7lb just from water retention and bloating then 2 days sugar free or very low sugar and I'm back to normal. Certain foods just don't suit certain people, used to think it was the wheat in bread and cakes but I had coeliac testing which was negative and through powers of deduction I've worked out its the sugar rather than the wheat causing the stomach issues.

Hopefully if you swap out the sugary treats for foods which are more filling you'll see a water loss and a weight loss at the scales next week!

Don't be hard on yourself though because it can be tough to cut down on sweets and chocolates and if you deny yourself completely you might get to a point where you splurge on the treats. I drink a lot of cadbury's highlights hot chocolate or I'd be at the corner shop like a shot lol.

You know Sasha, I was going to ask you about sweets etc..
The very first time I did ww I used a fair amount of my points on sweet stuff etc.. and when I sts the consultant told me to lay off the sweet stuff and eat more regular foods...
to be honest, I thought...what difference does it make as long as I stick to the points etc... bla bla bla and I packed it in right then and there coz I thought the diet was a con...but that was many moons ago when I probably only had 1/2 stone to lose,
I've joined a couple of times since then and I know the diet works, still wish I could spend lots of points on sweet stuff though :D
when I had a sts i taught it might be that I was eating to much bread, so now I have bread every second day instead of everyday, and I have waffles or crispbread instead. and I started to lose weight again,
