Super angry!

Hi guys,

Week three has been total cack! Im fine when im in work and then I just come home and Im so mean to my boyfriend. I keep ripping his head off for nothing and hes been so supportive and lovely.
I feel like a total a-hole! We just spend each evening not talking and Im so bored!! Did my life really revolve this much around food and alcohol??
Totally fed up, I dont want to eat because i know i'll be even angrier. I refuse to fail but i just wish i could stop being such a stroppy, moody pain in the ass!

CJ, sorry to hear you are having a crap week. I know what you mean though. Our social life revolved around food etc so it is hard to readjust. Focus on your long term goal, that is what I am doing. Reach for the water when you think of food. Your bf is tring to help you along so why not find a new hobby to do together. Whatever, just keep strong.

I know what you mean; I get really bored in the evenings because I'm not eating, but then, isn't it a little worrying how reliant we were on food to entertain us? Maybe use it as a positive to plan something a bit out of the ordinary to do with your boyfriend?

Also, I think we're all a bit irritable on LT at times, it does calm down...

hey chick - i had this last time on LT and i am feeling the same today! Its just hard to adjust to doing something different than drinking and eating with yer bf. Try going out places, cinema, anywhere or even renting some movies and snuggling up on the sofa. My bf knows its cuz of the diet today and so has left me be. I am sure your bf understands :) Mines worse as i only get to spend the evenings with my bf on weeeknds and today i seem to be a right moody cow :giggle: it will get better so dont stress over it :) xx

Hey Hun,

So glad Im not the only grumpy cow! Ha ha! What would I do without you lot? Probably lose my mind!!! Tomorrows another day, i shall return like a ray of sunshine!!

I was like that on thursday, i was in the foulest mood ever, but I got my support from here and on friday i was like a different person. i suppose with all the changes we go through, its hard for our bodies to understand what we're doing, and i suppose it feels like we are depriving it of something which we've had our whole lives. you just gotta get through it as best you can, i find a nice long hot bath helps a lot!

It is amazing that food is such a big part of our life....and being on LT really brings that home! It will get so much easier and Wk 3 is a bad week for a lot of people..it was for me too!

Just keep your goal in the front of your mind and keep positive. Bear in mind this diet isnt for ever! It will be over before you know it and you will be eating again, albiet healthily but you will be that nice slim person that you want to me...the moodiness, etc will have been worth it..it is a small price to pay :)

Like you say your BF has been so supportive, so I am sure he understands it is the lack of food...do try and get yourself out...staying at home can be hard...go for walks, do things that dont cost you or involve eating, drinking....but dont see it as a CHORE to be on LT...you can get through this and you will and will be such a happy person at the end of the process.

Aw babe,

I can empathise. Tonight I was absolutely foul to my Dad and sister. My sister was having a cheese sarnie with hula hoops and I totally kicked off about her being selfish and 'blah blah blah'. It was totally undeserved and I felt horrible. I couldn't help it though. I could have snatched it out of her hands and shoved it down my face.

Like the others have said it's quite scary how much life revolves around food and drink isn't it?! It's great that your bf is so supportive- why don't you do something together to take your mind off food? Go for a walk...or to the pictures...or....'early night' lol!!

We all have grumpy days and it's hard on our loved ones- but it'll get better hun.
