Syn values = calories

Think people just need to be aware that the 1 syn = 20 calories only works when there is NO free food eg; choc, crisps etc.
If its something like a chicken curry it needs to go through the syn calculator as the free food allowance will be taken into consideration!
I keep seeing people giving the 1 = 20 advice when it is in fact wrong. ?

Thanks for pointing this out. As you say it works for things without a free food allowance but that is more than just junk foods like crisps and chocolate. It would also include things like breads, sauces, juice and other drinks, ready made soups, sandwiches, or jars of sauce, nuts, seeds, canned/dried/stewed fruits, cereals, cereal bars. So all in all in actually works in a lot of instances :)
