Well, I've not been on here for a couple of days, reason being... I've had a shoking week. It all went wrong when England played last Wednesday. I normally have weekly syns so decided to chill out and have a few drinks in the afternoon as work let us go to the pub to watch the game - big mistake, that's where the snowball started! I managed to have 40 syns that night and a chicken salad when I got home - Not too bad I hear you say... It wasn't, until I hit the weekend. My week was ok (sticking 5-8 syns per day) then I left my weekend really restricted, my second big mistake. Needless to say my weekend spiralled out of control, ended up drinking Kopparberg cider on Saturday with OH as the weather was sooo nice and we were celebrating finally finding and booking our wedding venue. To all who don't know Kopparberg really is the devil incarnate where syns are concerned (12 per bottle!!), then Sunday was fine until the hangover cravings set in - shall I go on? As my WI is Tuesday (tonight) I thought "bugger it" today as I can start fresh tomorrow hence eating copious amounts of chocolate and cookies. So, basically I have had a shocker and I'm really really disappointed with myself however I did drag myself to WI tonight and ended up with a 2lb gain (surprise). I am absolutely fine with drawing a line under it and sorting myself out for a fresh start tomorrow, what I am scared of is gaining next week as well.

Can anyone give me their view on their very own shockers and what their gains were like? I really am going to be 100% this week but really don't want last week to catch up with me!!

Oh why do we do it to ourselves!!

Just thought i'd pop in to join in the confessions from the weekend. I went to Glastonbury this weekend so needless to say alcohol and junk food were eaten in large quantities (although I did discover a new love for chickpea stew!!) Anyway after my shocker of a weekend and to be honest a pretty bad week before that as well i've gained 4 pounds. BUT that it is now and i'm back on plan. Best of luck!

Thanks for that Choccie! It's goos to know I'm not the only sinner out there. Hope Glasto was awesome, it would take major restraint to stay away from a beer tent at a festival, hope they were worth it!! Good luck for this week! x

depends if you can do any excersises to stop your gain being alot i had shocking bad week on holiday but was very active all week and only gained 1lb..

Water also plays a role in this too dont forget. Just make sure that you get back on track now and drink water - welcome with this heat anyway!
I have had 2 weekends of naughtiness - I gained 2lb last week, stuck to plan all week and then I have had Sat - Monday off plan. I weigh in this evening and I am expecting another gain, but thats ok, I know why it has happened and will know that it comes off again. I very rarely go off plan so I dont mind. I will find out the damage later though! :)

Its good that you have come on here to get some support though - we all have those weeks! I bet you had fun so just put it behind you and start afresh like you said :)
