Attack Tandoori Chicken

    Tandoori Rub for Chicken

    · 0% fat natural yoghurt

    Equal quantities of ground:
    · Ginger
    · Cumin
    · Coriander
    · Paprika
    · Turmeric
    · Salt
    · Cayenne Pepper (this is very hot so use more or less according to taste) :mad:

    Note - 1 tspn of each of the spices to 3-4 tbsp yoghurt is sufficient for 2 chicken breasts or 4 chicken thigh fillets.
    If you increase the quantity of meat increase the volume of both spices and yoghurt accordingly
    1. Put the yoghurt in a bowl large enough to hold all the meat and yoghurt
    2. Mix in all the spices and the salt
    3. Add the pieces of meat mixing to coat the meat thoroughly. I use my hands to do this!
    4. Marinade in the fridge for several hours or overnight
    5. Preheat the grill until very hot
    6. DO NOT scrape marinade off meat before placing under the hot grill for approx 5 minutes each side until slightly charred and cooked. Test there are no underdone bits – it will be a bit pink anyway from the spices.

    If you like this kind of food then you should like this a lot! :)

    No cayenne pepper? – perhaps ground chilli will suffice
