Well I did go to work. I called in and told them I couldn't get in cus my car was buried so they sent me a taxi, paid me an hour overtime, I finished 2 hours early and they got me a taxi home!

not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing. uve got nice employers but wouldnt u rather stayed at home?

It was Jim but I'm not playing that game again today. The taxi driver last night was very cautious but still slid around rather a lot and it was a scary ride home. Today it is -7 outside and my car is not moveable. I am not due to finish work til after midnight by which time the roads will be extremely dangerous and I wont feel safe in someone elses control. I think I will have to lose the days pay and admit defeat today!

Well I spoke to my manager and he is not happy. I told him that I need guarantees that I can get home safely which he thinks he can give me! Hmmm
