Taz's diary - Need to do this!

awww hun,

hope your much better!!! I thought i'd read your title wrong!!!!!!

Hugs Nas x

Nope, you read it right! I feel so hazy-headed at the mo, I'm a real cheap date! I feel like I've been on the vodka all night and I haven't touched a drop!

Well I am at a loss when it comes to the diet! I have put on a staggering amount of weight in a stupidly short space of time and I don't really know what to do about it. I am not feeling good and diet is the last thing I am thinking about. And being so close to christmas it couldn't have come at a worse time! I think I will start 2009 a stone heavier!

If you do Taz, so be it. New years are for new beginnings. You can start from where you are and move forward (downward on the scales) from there. (((((many hugs))))) x

hey, hope it starts easing off a little bit for ya hun xxx

hey hun - new year new start? Enjoy xmas and then go for it xx

It's just so annoying. When I got home I hopped on the scales again and I am now a whopping 11lb heavier than I was on Tuesday morning! How shocking is that?

Dear Santa,

I want lipo!

Love
fatty Taz!

It's the tablets!! Plus your body's taken a battering and has probably gone into self-protection mode!! Stick with it, it'll drop back off.....

(Hello again, by the way.)

Hope the pain subsides soon. Have a great Christmas xx

Hello again!

Yeah definately the tablets. The pain is getting easier so I am going to try cutting back now and see if I can cope with the pain better without them. Also I know that stress can cause cortisol to gather around the mid-section :(

I boarded the weighing vessel this morning and I am now only (only! Ha!) 8lb heavier than Tuesday morning.

You see???? Literally DROPPING off you ;)

Painkillers are a bummer for that - my husband needs ibuprofen regularly (loads of old sporting injuries) and they do exactly the same to him!

Glad the pain is subsiding :)

I have also been quite off plan for the last week as I was away for 2 days for my friends birthday which included dinner at planet hollywood and hotel breakfast buffet and we've had quite a bit of chocolate here (being christmas!) so I am totally 100% back on plan from today til Wednesday and will get back on it on the 27th. I am terrified of seeing 15 stone on those scales again so I have to be good now!

oh honey. my cocodamol do the same to me. i don't notice it except in the difference on the scales. try not to worry about it. it's far more important that your neck is comfortable than what the scales show at the moment. if you know you are being fairly sensible then i would lay off them for a while and up your water intake (it helps with me)

hope you get to feeling better soon babes.

and i really feel for your friend. How a mother can do that on their daughter's birthday is beyond me. i can only think she must have had one hell of a reason. you are such a good friend.

abz xx

She was schitzophrenic Abz, the trouble is her mothers family are the type that refuse to believe there is mental illness in their family and have taken to blaming my poor friend for her mother killing herself. Evil, nasty people. Her dad is useless, he lives in France and is totally wrapped up in his bride to be who is just 3 years older than my friend! She will be all alone for christmas so we are spending the evening with her. She only lives down the road from us so it's not even out of our way.

I only took the tablets twice yesterday but I woke up in agony this morning so had to take some straight away. I would try alternating them with normal paracetamols but if the co-codamols aren't taking all the pain away I can't imagine the paracetamols would even touch it. I will just try to go longer between doses. I am drinking more water now and eating more fruit.

Scales were kinder this morning, I'm now only 5lb up! They are moving down but still not great. I guess it doesn't help that I am totally inactive right now

hey there honey. try taking them with normal ibuprofin. i would be careful alternating them with paracetamol because if you do suddenly need more you won't be able to take them as cocodamol have paracetamol in them and it could be dangerous. you can however take ibuprofin with them and that really really helped me with my back. especially if the damage is muscular as ibuprofin works as a muscle relaxent.

give it a shot. hope it helps.

abz xx

Yeah you can take ibuprofen and paracetamol together. Hope you are feeling better soon hun x

haven't posted on here in a while. Hope you feel better soon hun. Take Care.

Have a lovely Christmas and New Year (if you can with your head injury) and speak soon xx

Thanks guys I am feeling a lot better than I was. I don't look or feel like a permanently drunk person now! I still have a rather painful neck which is quite uncomfortable and I get a few dizzy spells but otherwise I'm not so bad now. Abz, I will consider the ibuprofen if it gets too much but I am trying to completely do away with the painkillers!
