Taz's diary - Need to do this!

Oh Im sooo sharing Mr Taz pain.. My hayfever meds have changed and I now have to have the drowsy one as all that wks but next maybe the injection? :(

I get just the tiniest bit of hayfever when the pollen is really high and have had it for the last day or two. All I have is itchy eyes, "odd" mouth and a few sneezes but would hate to have the real thing. Hope you all get sorted - it's not nice x
 
Hi Taz. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Will they restore your services once the bill is paid? Could you record your programmes in the meantime?

Hope Mr Taz gets something sorted for the hayfever soon xx
 
ha ha well what a funny and embarrassing story that is! After about an hour and a call to disconnections I got my services restored with a promise to pay the arrears on Friday as I was expecting some money in my account any time from the 17th. So happy with that I went about my business. When I checked my balance at the cashpoint I found that the money had actually gone in already! I will wait a few days before I pay them though, it would be too embarrassing to phone them back today!

In other news, I went swimming today and decided it's time to step it up a gear to get ready for the channel swim challenge. If I go 3 times a week then I have to do 2 days of 40 lengths and 1 of 38 so I will be doing 40 now instead of the 32 I am used to. So today I did 40 lengths/1000 metres in just under 35 minutes! I was very pleased with that :mermaid:
 
You are a total mermaid Taz - as you know I take an hour to do 32. Glad the money's sorted x
 
Well when I started swimming again back in January it tool me 45 mins to do the 32 but I got that to just under 25 mins last week. I will be doing 40 lengths per visit now though so I will see if I can get that down to 30 mins

Has Mr Taz tried the Beconase nasal spray for his hayfever? It's the only thing that works for me. x

I have bought him Piriteze today, I also got him Asda's own brand as the active ingredient is exactly the same at a fraction of the price so I will get him to try both
 
Also Lloyds pharmacy has a new thing which you put up your nose for a couple of minutes throughout the day and it's supposed to be wonderful!
 
You copy away Nomad! Obviously it wont move til September but I have just got it ready. Thanks for the tip about the Lloys pharmacy thing, I will take a look at that

How are you today? I am thinking of starting swimming but dont like getting in the pool as i look like a whale :(
 
Haha.... we all get those feelings Gemma. I didn't go for ages cos I couldn't do the walk out from changing room to pool. I even asked if I could wear a T shirt over my swimsuit but they wouldn't let me! Then I "took the plunge" - once you've done it you get over yourself - it's just when you see some young thing in a skimpy bikini with a great figure, no cellulite and a good even colour that you suddenly realize that you are in total contrast. The point is not to let it stop you doing something you will enjoy and bring you closer to your goal x
 
yeah definately. When I go I just get on with it knowing that I am doing myself some good. You are a lot smaller than me, if I can do it you can do it!

I don't think about how I look, just as long as all my bits are covered! If someone's got a problem with it, it's just that, their problem!
 
Oh yes! I will have to do some shopping, gotta love the yogurt!

Congratulations Kat on getting a date for your band. We start the pre-op diet on Wednesday next week but I will have to eat on Friday and Saturday as I have my pre-grading on Saturday and I need all the energy I can get for that! 2nd July, that will be here very soon x
