We had several very heavy snow falls on Wednesday which by late afternoon had turned to sheet ice. I think the bus I caught was the last one they ran before they decided to stop them because the roads were too dangerous. There were loads of accidents around Norwich Wednesday night, the roads were horrendous.

Glad you got home safely Nomad. We haven't had anything like that here!

No and I probably won't have the money for a while now so don't know if there will still be spaces for me. I wonder if we would be better leaving it this year and doing it next year? I don't know about you but I haven't really got to the pool yet this year. I know you did a couple of marathon sessions a couple of weeks back.

I was kinda thinking the same. I have a lot going on at the moment and I think we maybe need more time to prepare. I will do the channel swim challenge again this year though

Yes I think that's a fair compromise and then hopefully next year we will be able to do the Snowdonia one.

Or even the Malta one!!!

What's a new one Gem? Malta? There are 2 options for lake swims, one was Snowdoia the other was Malta.

It does Gem. And having a years notice might be more do-able too. It will cost more than the Snowdonia one but might be well worth it. I would have to get a passport!

Morning Taz, I have Family in Malta, My DIL, Carol is 1/4 Malteser. LOL

I did think that Taz but I would also have to get a passport so I might prefer to stick to Snowdonia. Mind you, it might be worth considering seriously . . .
