Morning all, had a bit of a poo weekend but the good news is I am now officially drug free!

Morning all, well I worked a late shift last night as a one off and had to be up early this morning as we are having a new boiler fitted. The boiler was supposed to be delivered between 7-8am and so far not here. The fitters are supposed to be arriving between 8-9am so I am hoping that the boiler turns up before the fitters do! Added to which I have arrangements that I can't change today which means going out for about 4 hours so I have to have a house-sitter which isn't ideal but totally unavoidable!

Morning Taz, who's delivering the boiler, can you trace it online, we can with UPS.

Good idea Jim - Has the boiler been delivered yet?

Yes it arrived! The fitter arrived 10 minutes before it though! My flat is now resembling a building site

That's good news then taz, nice how water for tonight.

Not quite Jim! The job is not finished so we still got no hot water. I can't get to my freezer as everything is still out of place and I can't turn on the gas hob! So not only can I not wash my hair, I can't have any dinner either!!!

Taz - you should have come out with us tonight x

Morning Taz, what on earth is taking them so long? We had our boiler replaced in a morning.

I had to go out last night Gem

Jim, It wasn't a straight forward switch, there is electrics to do, pipes to change and they had to put a soak-away in the garden

Yep all done! And today we have had our V+ box replaced with one that will hopefully work better than the previous one!

I made a cake this morning, a banana and chocolate chip one. Never made it before so I hope it turns out ok!
