Taz's diary - Need to do this!

Thats fantastic Taz - hope you feel better soon x

Morning! Well the cold is on it's way out now, still a few snuffles and a little snotty and my voice is still not good but it's going :) So I will be back in the pool tomorrow and hopefully back to the gym on Monday. It will be good to get back into the routine again. But it's also good to know that I can keep weight off when I'm ill :D

Glad you're feeling better Taz - me too x

Today both me and Mr Taz are home so I'd said that, as the tree has to go up in a week, we will finally tidy this place! My poor lounge is still suffering from all the work this year and we've not had a chance to get on top of it. So today is the day, I drag Mr Taz's lazy arse out of bed and..... his back twinges as soon as we start  just blooming typical, I'm starting to think that I am destined to never have a nice home :(

You're doing well Taz - just a tiny set back x

Morning all! Well I was back in the pool last night, got 150 lengths done and will do the last 150 this morning which will complete the Channel Swim Challenge. Actually, that will complete it for the second time as I've already completed it once! I'm very pleased with this as the previous 3 times I've taken part I've not completed it on time due to winter bugs and had to keep going with it after the finish time. This time, I have done it twice, I still have a week to go and I've had to have a week of because of my trapped nerve then another week off because of this cold! What's not to be proud of?! :D

I have just 4 weigh ins til Christmas which means I need not just 2lb a week loss but 2 weeks will have to be 3lb-ers if I'm to reach the 50lb mark in time. If I don't quite get there I am quite confident that I will still reach my mini goal that I set earlier in the year so I can't be too down about that but I would so love to reach that 50lb goal. I have a weekend away and a Christmas do (dinner) to contend with during this time so I will have to be quite creative with these events and not over indulge. It will all be worth it for the smile if/when I hit that goal :D The ultimate would be to enter One-derland for the new year (In the one hundred lb region) but again, that all depends on what happens in the next 4 weeks and we all know that it's just impossible to lose weight over Christmas!

You have every reason to be proud Taz - of the swimming and the weightloss - Its all AMAZING. Just think of Portsmouth on crutches last year and how difficult everything was just getting around - and how down you were about the weight which wanted to stick to you as you weren't able to do any activities. What a different story a year has told x

I know, it's great that I will be able to do more this year. I have much more mobility and loads more energy. I think I can almost be classed as a fit person! It was bad enough being un-mobile but the weight made it all so much worse. It is indeed a very different story this year, and I'm hoping that next year will be a different one again at goal weight :D

That will be something to celebrate indeed x

Went to the gym this morning after 2 weeks off and boy did I feel it! I think I will miss tomorrows session and ease back in slowly. Back again on Friday when I will hopefully be able to do a bit more. The 'specialist' wasn't kidding when she said that "People like me" de-condition much faster than 'normal' people!

You'll soon be back in condition Taz - good call to ease back in x

Bad scales! Give them a talking to x
