Taz's diary - Need to do this!

Nope neither! He lives off toad in the hole, cheese toasties and baked beans! He does have a physical job but he doesn't do any extra exercise. He is one of those naturally skinny types that make you sick!

i've got one of them! he's recently discovered a cake shop on his postal round which he eats from daily and it's still not making any difference!

those scales sound great! i want some! i've got WW digital ones that were about £60 down to £35 in argos...b.b..b.bbbargain! they do a few bits but i'm only interested in the stones and lbs! they're pretty accurate as long as they go in the same spot each time you weigh.

It WILL catch up with them and when it does it will be our fault for not warning them!

my boyfriend usually eats his own thing for dinner as he's not on SW and he eats meat. but when i do roast dinners he's there panting like a dog. we had one on wednesday night and it was piled up with loads of fresh veg - sprouts, carrotts and cabbage and his body couldn't handle it! he was farting all night and he been to the toilet alot the next morning! lol ...i told him it was good to clear his system out with all that fibre! lol

My scales were £60 but I got them for my birthday. I can't seem to get the software to work on my computers though and I have tried 2 different discs but it just doesn't seem to work!

Electrodes or something! You have to stand on the metal strips and it sends the signal round your body to read the vitals. It is accurate as the BMI measures exactly the same as my ticker and the fat and water content read the same as a similar set of scales that I have

BIA Bioelectrical Impedence Analysis which is a new technology that can measure all kinds of body content by (I think) the amount of resistance to the electrical impulse. That is if I understand it correctly. I have the same scales I think and they are very good.

There are a few on the market but I think the ones I've got are the ones that do the most. I have got the Salter MiBody ones. Which ones have you got Gem?

The same Taz. They are really good and have a flash drive to take the info to the computer too so that everything is recorded and comparable

yeah that would be great except it won't seem to install properly on either of my computers and I have tried 2 different discs and I just can't seem to get it to work right.

There is some kind of update on the web I ran into today. I don't know what it's all about but will try to find it tomorrow and let you know if I do. x

Ooooh how could I forget to report! I got a text from my mum today saying that my dad will sponsor me £ for lb to lose weight! How cool is that! I never expected that but I got more of an incentive now!

thats a very nice incentive! lucky you!!:D

Just been looking online and it seems I need something called a dll. No idea what that is so I will take my laptop to the computer shop next week and see if they can solve it for me

Thanks Karen, trouble is it's all double dutch to me! I know my way around the computer but when it comes to the technical behind the scenes stuff I am totally lost!

Sounds like an add on to me, may be able to download but find out about it first just to make sure. Maybe Tyn can help - or Jenn's OH. x
