Well I promised to update on what happened in my karate lesson yesterday:

I had a private lesson yesterday morning and we worked on the kata for my next grading. It is the same pattern for the next 2 belt, for the next one I just have to know how to do it and for the one after I have to be able to do it perfectly by myself. Sensei taught me the kata and I soon grasped the basic pattern and all I need to do now is polish it up. He told me that as I have 2 and a half months til my next grading and it is looking good now I may be able to double grade and skip the next belt if I work hard between now and then! There are no guarantees on this as it is Senior Sensei who has the final say on that. If SS lets me double grade then I could be grading for black belt as early as May next year! I am going to focus my energy into training and I am going to work hard to get those belts
