Thanks Vic I really appreciate it. I now have to write a piece to read out at her funeral but I don't know where to start. Not because I don't know what to say but because there is too much to say! I will have to edit it down. When I read at my grandads funeral it wasn't until I'd finished my piece that it kicked me

It's the least I can do. Both my parents were only children so we didn't have to share our grandparents with anyone else, no cousins or anything. They did plenty for us when we were kids and this is the very last thing I can do for them

I went to see my manager this morning to arrange for time off. I can't do my job if my mind isn't 100% on it. He was really nice about it and said that he would email the rostering department and tell them to give me 2 days paid leave and if I ask them for any annual leave after that they are to grant it straight away. It was so good of him to do that for me.

I hopped onto my scales this morning. I haven't weighed since WI last week and it looks like I have only put on 1lb which is good
