Team 27 - Weight to go team- The CD Returners

Thanks gamma, good idea am about to highlight some hair as well so that should keep me busy!!! Youl defo be the weight you want to be if you stick to it. Thats the thing with this diet you know it defo does work you just have to stick to it. Do you know if your more likely to put on after doing this????? thats what everyone keeps telling me i keep saying well if i go back to troughing chocolate like theres a shortage then yes i will but if i eat sensibly im no more likely to than on any other diet. That sounds good but i did start to worry.. prob cos its a hard day. Thanks for support grateful as always:). Hows your day going??
 
no probs - i think this diet is fine but like any diet everyone needs encouragement....thats what we are all here for! Team Weight to Go!!!!

When i did CD before i lost 3st7lbs but i didnt complete the stages and therefore didnt know how to control my eating habits after i had completed SS. There are loads of people on the forum who have maintained for years so the important thing is to keep going to your CDC even once you have reached goal as they will work through the different stages with you ensuring that you gradually increase your food/calorie intake rather than simply binging (which is what i did). The weight will stay off if you stick to a proper eating plan (with the odd treat).

but do see it through otherwise you end up like me and have to go through the whole thing again!!!

Wow how long did it take you to lose that? To be honest thats what i figured i thought ill get to goal then do all the stages then my ultimate goal is to be eating healthy with more relaxed weekends exercising reg and weighing once a week at gym to keep an eye on things so fingers crossed ill get there! ITs so good to have a group isnt it? It really helps knowing there are a group of people that know exactly how your feeling. Im on facebook if you want to add me its sarah gates was hawkins xxxxx
 
it took me 4 months to lose all that but takes longer and is harder teh second time around apparently!

i have never had a good relationship with food and my CDC is really helping me sort this out which is why the stages are so important!

this group is fab. a real team feeling....love it!

Wow a target of four stone in 4 months isnt to off track then excellent!
Do you think you need to aim abit under what you want to be to take into acoount the bit you will put on when you start to eat again?

Well i am doing ok so far.
Just starting my 4th pint!
I managed to go to my counciller and get my shakes so yeyeyeyeye!
Gonna try the porridge one tonight. So far so good. Have had to have chewing gum as my breath stinks lol!

had a tough day today but feel ok again now am pleased i havent broken my diet am looking forward to fridays weigh in but also scared! struggiling with my water today. Hows everyone else been??? Good day??
 
Had a pm from Sunnysmile......it's her birthday today and she is showing amazing willpower to stick to CD. It was mine last Weds and I ate loads of choc (sorry to mention food porn girls) so I really don't know how she's done it.
Iwant2bslim - I hope things get easier for you tomorrow. Day 4 is meant to be the turning point for ketosis and the hunger pangs should stop. We're all here with you - thank goodness.
Gamma - you have such enthusiasm flowing through your posts that it's so refreshing. I'll try to find you on FB.

hey girlies thought i would log on to say nighty night and how fab i think you all are. Iwant2bslim well done for not giving up and keeping going. You have us to answer to and to geer you on now and we want you back every day to show us and yourself you can do it!

I am shattered now. Been to my friends house and was laughing all night. I sat at the table with them with my water whilst they ate and didnt feel bad they kept apologising but honestly i didnt want any! My friend claire said that she thinks this time I will do it and they all have so much faith in me and used to groan when i took on a new diet but they have all said they are proud of me bless them.

Heres to day 3 for me! I need to stay up as late as possible, a) cos hubs still hasnt finished work bless him (hes a copper and has prisioners in) and he started at 8am! and b) I am working 1900 till 0300 tomorrow night so want to not have to rely on red bull to keep me awake!
God knows how I am going to deal with the shakes tomorrow.
Am thinking that I will just drink loads of water in the morning if i wake up early and then have a shake around 5pm then have a porridge at about 2200 and then a tetra at about 2 ish and then go bed when i get in?

So see you all tomorrow afternoon.

Wow FNM thats a shift and a half isnt it. Youl be ok you are determined strong and gorgeous and that wedding dress is just waiting for you.
Thanks for your support, i think im not getting enough water which may be why i was having trouble.
Happy birthday sunny and well done for the will power!!! Its my bday in june so ill have to do that to but am planning a big night out in the summer :)

Yea poor sod didnt get home till 2.30am and was back at work again this morning at 8am!

Well i stupidly woke upa t 8am. I now have to work out when I will have my three shakes. I have until 3am to last but want to be able to have 2 shakes at work as it will be harder to stick to it at work than at home as I wont have here to come on to!

I normally do 12 hour shifts but this is over time so it will go quick as its only 8 hours (only 8 hours lol).

I feel great today and really positive. Just wondering when i should have my shakes lol. Its weird as I have gotten back into this really fast. My friends have said to me that they reckon this time i will do it for the wedding! And i think they are right!
How are you other girlies doing?

Woo-hoo. Still surviving. Came down at 2 and 5 this morning to warm babymilk and Stu (DH) had left his lunchbox out with a jaffa cake staring at me. I refused eye contact on both occasions but it stayed in my head. Ironically I've woken with a headache and as we drink decaf then it must be some other shift. I'll see if water shifts it or I'll have to take some tablets. Grrr.

FNM, what is your job that causes those shifts? I'm finding it hard to find a routine to pace my packs as it is before I start searching out food.

IW2BS, how much water are you drinking? Are you not having enough because of tea / coffee?

I think I'll pm this thread link to Petrina and Sunnysmile for moral support.

wez well done for not eating the jaffa!!!!

in terms of when i have my meals i tend to have my first shake at 7.30am and then i dont have my second until 6pm and my third around 8pm. I work normal office hours and am manic during the day (although you wouldnt believe it given the amount of time im on here - lol!) so dont really think about food at all. my hardest time is always in the evening when im sat, relaxing. Having lots of long hot baths at the moment - lol!!!

I was hoping to last without anything till at least 3 - 4 pm. so far so good!

Wez I work as an emergency medic. So basically you know when you dial 999 and ask for ambulance and the call operator puts you through to someone in the Ambulance service? Thats me. I am the one who tells the ambulances to go to the house and also am the one who gives medical advise over the phone and calms people down or stays with them until help arrives. Its very stressful but very rewarding.

What do you other guys do?

do you know what? i may have 4 shakes today! I have one spare so think I may do that as i dont think i will be able to last till 4pm!
