Been on codeine and diclofenac sodium since aug last year - I definitely helps, but does not take it all away : fingers crossed lovexx

Was that half off though? At least it's in the the right direction
I'm ok thanks lady, got fed up of three months not moving and have taken drastic measures to combine SW (the love of my life!) with 5:2.. Feels like cheating, but has given me the boost I needed.. ESP at this time of year! (BBQs and socials!)
Back was fine during the good weather and gone downhill now and waiting on a second MRI as comparison to 4 mths ago.. Been referred to a lovely kiwi Spinal surgeon specialist called Otto! Lol!
Did you do a whole week se? Is that what they recommend? Or worth trying combining the two?

Drinks - Tea, Pepsi Max

Snacks - Melon, Strawberries, Doughnut Peach

Syns - 2 X wholemeal bread (5) Lasagne (8) Sugar (1) Milk (1) total 15

Serious lack of superfree today - pain in my back and just not really hungry I ate because I had to

Ive had codeine and naproxen which is like diclofenic they dont help. What have they said is wrong with your spine?

Yes it was 0.5 off but that was after 6 days :-( Supposedly a few days gives a boost lol

I need some stronger painkillers paracetamols dont work :-(

Ive got my hospital appt on 9th Sept so hopefully will get somewhere re pain after that

I was on the naproxen with paracetamol before then they upped it to the diclofenac. It def makes things bearable, but its still a problem
Well after the first MRI they said it looked like I may have a fractured vertebrae! I was so shocked! But CT confirmed it was not but the bottom vertebrae that sits on your spine (v5) is mega inflamed - I've seen the scans and it looks v different to the rest.. There's various things they are looking into but I am still a bit none the wiser.. (And i have discovered its best not to google the big words they are investigating!) Next MRI on 24th then I will see the spinal dude again and hopefully work out what can be done. I just don't want to be on codeine for much longer
Blooming frustrating, but it just seems to take so long each time they order more tests - it's like a month between a meeting then a scan then another month for results.. Been 2.5 years now since the original injury.. I do love the NHS, but it can be so frustrating when you just want answers.
I am glad you have an appointment though - although its not quick, things do start moving at least and you feel like something is being done.
You might find a better loss next week then, may take a mo for your body to respond x
