the cold is making me hungry!!!!

All this snow is fantastic!!! just been on a big counrty walk with my two young children and puppy (and husband of course)
But this cold weather is making me soooooo hungry!!!!!
I ve just had 2 snack pot cupper soups and added chilly flakes in it to warm me up!!!
this weather makes me want hot apple crumble with piping hot custard!!

The cold days make me want comforting food too, I make soup. It's quick and easy and there are lots of recipes on the forum. My favourites are leek and potato and vegetable. Carrot soup is good too because it has a hint of sweetness.
There is a good baked apple recipe on the sw website, but nothing can really beat good old crumble and custard. :cry:

Me too, just had lovely roast pork, mash and veggies ( might even finish the Rice pudding soon yummmmyyyy )

Love chilli con carne aty this time of year, chicken and sweetcorn soup and Leek and Potato Soup mmmmmm
