Saw the pics of you with your balloons. What a great idea. Had to find out who you are.

Congratulations. You are doing so well.

Home now, after an amazing week - really tiring, as the assessment thing was about 48 hours, so you feel you're being observed all the time! Anyway, I was just myself, and whatever will be, will be. I'll find out in a couple of weeks time.

Managed to STS this week, so quite pleased about that, with a wedding and being away in that. I did pretty well until Thursday after the assessment, and then I think nerves and tiredness combined, and I started munching some chocolate digestives and then some chocolate yesterday. Well, line drawn today, and determined not to eat my way through the 10 days or so of waiting to hear the answer. About to head out with little one, hopefully distraction will prove the key :)

Maintaining whilst socialising and under pressure ?
Wooooow Weeeeee :D
That is really good news Rachel :d

I hope your busy week of interviews works out for you :)

Fingers crossed for you chick- hope you get it. Think a wee bit of chocolate after your week of stress was certainly deserved. Missed you this week. Hope you are OK xx

Read through this diary a few days ago (every post, all 28+ pages of it), but was too exhausted to comment at that time. Anyway, i just wanted to hop back and say,,... WOW what a journey, it is so motivating to see someone come so far, get up and get back on track no matter what, etc. Well done! I'm so pleased for you and you are my new role model when things get tough, i know it can be done, i hope to lose my 7 stone eventually too (well, need to lose 8 in total). Your new photos look amazing.

Well, it's nice to be home. It's weird, although last week was stressful, I managed to mostly stay on track, but since getting home I've been finding it really difficult. I think it's the waiting to hear, I've got another week or so to go before I find out, and it's a bit like being in limbo. If I get a yes, then I start training in September and a whole different life opens up for me, if I get a no, then it's a different journey altogether, either way it's a bit of a decisive moment really, which is now entirely out of my hands! I don't like just waiting to hear. Anyway, time to confess to the apple crumble I munched yesterday at Mum's, and then the box of Rocky Road bites I bought from the Co-op and ate. Feeling annoyed that I've let it get to me and started eating. Also, found that I'm feeling really lethargic and thick headed this morning, and the runny nose / underlying asthma is starting to play up a bit - I think it might be related to the food, (although I guess it could be stress related too). Anyway, time to draw yet another line! I've now had two shakes so far today, and on my way through my second bottle of water. Whatever the answer is next week, I'm determined not to deal with it (either this week or next) with food.

It's been strange having an entire week away from you guys, I've really missed this site, and realised how much the support here has really meant to me. Anyway, good to be back home physically, and back home here on minimins too :)
