The new me diary....

Thanks guys - I'm really enjoying my job! Feel much more settled again now...

I'm going to slimming world tonight - I don't really want 2 feel like I'm on a diet again but I need the routine of going to a class...
I know I might be setting my self up for a fall - but I can't get my head around how I'm going to lose weight on SW. Since 2009 I have been running back to TFR as that was the only thing that ever worked for me? So I can't get my head around eating all this food and losing weight?! Does that make sense?

I'm going to give it a go and make sure I go to the gym 3 times a week... Gym days will be Wed, Sat and Sun - finding it difficult going during the week as I don't get home until 7pm so by the time I get to the gym it's 7:30.

Menu:-

B/L - I've made a large fruit salad for work (that I will pick at throughout the day)

D - 2 poached eggs, mushrooms and 1 slice of best of both bread.

S - fat free yogurt and 2 satsumas

I weighed in boots this morning as I know I will be heavier at SW tonight - my weight is now 10st 12lb :(

I'll create a new tracker tonight when I weigh at SW

Sarah your not eating enough. No wonder you're not losing weight. By the looks of today and working out calories roughly your having a massive deficit which isn't beneficial to your body. Whatever you eat it'll just keep hold of as in effect your 'starving' your body iykwim.

Hopefully sw works for you. Just remember you need fuel to keep your metabolism going :) x

***Confession Time***

I didn't go 2 the meeting - I had every intention of going even picked up s slimming world mag 2 read on the bus... As soon as I got home I just broke down and couldn't stop crying.

I really don't know how I've put so much weight on :( I used to drink every weekend and have take aways - I've not had a drink in over a month maybe more (didn't even drink over Xmas or new year) and me and Lee eat health/fresh food for the most part.

I don't know what 2 go guys - I'm so fed up.... I feel horrible - and come 2 think about it I think the reason I've not been out drinking/socialising is because I feel embarrassed about my weight?!?
 
Sarah, not pregnant are u?! (don't take offence to that hun just could be a possible reason)

If not that then up your calories see what that does & if still nothing and weight still going up then get yourself off to the docs xx
 
Sorry you're feeling so low hon. I have to agree with Tan.
Try keeping a diary for a couple of weeks so you can see exactly what/how much you're having - I bet that'll throw some light on your problem. **hugs** xx
 
Sarah, I really have to agree with Tanya, and I dont think there are anywhere near enough calories in your day. Its different with TFR as you are getting all the nutrients you need, but the little you are eating is not giving you all the proteins, minerals etc that your body needs.

Pluck up the courage and go to SW or WW next week, and try to follow a healthy balanced diet at least for 3-4 weeks, and I think you will see the lbs drop off with proper eating.

Sorry you are feeling so down, its a bugger this weight thing, it really can get to us. Chin up chick xx

Tanya - it's funny you should say that cos Lee said 2 me a couple of weeks ago that he thought I was pregnant lol - so I done a test at the Drs while I was going for my pill injection just in case (I've been on the injection for years) so I'm defo not ;)

I think your right guys - me and Lee had a chat about it last night and he even said - "you hardly eat so I don't understand how you've put on weight"
I read back to the start of this diary and on the 10th oct my weight was 9st 12lb - so I've put on a stone since then.

So I've made the decision to join WW - I didn't really like the idea of free foods on slimming world - I think I would end up under eating etc..
So I'm going to a class on my lunch in city centre and I'm going to buy a monthly pass (also cheaper than SW)..

I'll update my menu and work out points etc later....

Points allowed - 26 per day

Menu today -

B - Tesco Meal replacement bar = 6 points
L - Shapers prawn wrap = 6 points
Carrots and houmous dip = 2 points
S - Grapes and Blueberries = 0 points
Milk = 2 points
D - 1/2 pack Pasta and sauce = 7 points

Think I will stock up on WW meals as its easier to make one when I get home from work. I've got some Tesco bars to use up so I'll have them for breakfast with fruit (even though they are quiet high in points).

Also I am only going to weigh at WW meeting and I'm hiding my scales :)

Did u do the monthly pass? how much was it?

I don't blame u about not using your home scales now.. :)

I've put my food into MFP today to work out points and it's around 1200cals (excluding fruit)....
