The really slow loss team!

Lisa when I feel like that I just have a day off plan and I mean off plan. I allow myself whatever I want and as much of it as I want and tell myself it's better to have one full day off than 3 weeks picking at odd bits I shouldn't have and feeling guilty. It always works for me. And I often find that once I take that guilt away I dont actually want the foods I'm feeling deprived of or when I have them they aren't as nice as I thought and I'm eager to have something healthy.

Well done tiphareth

Who lost 2 pound and had taster night? I read it hit reply then forgot cos I got on one lol. Was it greedy guts? Well done anyway x x x

I'm at a friends for tea tonight so am going to try to have a super free brekkie and lunch. Fruit snd yog for breakfast and boiled egg salad for dinner. God I'm gonna be starving lol

latte, kate and greedy guts well done !! woot woot partaaaaaaaay time you girls. I will be there as an escort even tho i (fortunately) stay the same each week.

Well done Latte.

Big hug to you Lisa, remember no matter what you weigh your fellow tortoises love you. :)

Lesley, it will pass.....it always does.

Lou.....you do make me smile. :)

Felicity it is nice to hear you are back on track too, as I know you went through a big struggle recently and so encouraging for the rest of us to know it will not last for ever, which is what we fear.

Another 100% day for me today - 10 syns and a good walk plus 4 hours cleaning.

I made the mash potato pizza for lunch - it was gorge, shared with my son, we had 120g cheese on it so half each on a green day using 2 b's each. Yummy.

What is this about Muller greek yogurts?

Sleep tight everyone, especially you Lisa, seems like you are being very hard on yourself at the moment.

thankyou x x x

Yay ladies well done! You all losing has put a :) on my face.

Well today is weigh in & I wasn't going to bother but decided I should to teach myself a lesson. Last Wed I was 11'8 & this morning it read 12'0. NO WAY!! I know it's not completely true as I ate a lot last night & I wouldn't normally eat a lot the night before weigh in (let alone a creme egg while watching Bigget Loser ha!) so I would naturally be heavier this morning.

Anyway, seeing that 12 hit me for six, even if it's not totally accurate. My meals have been on plan but my snacking has been bad. I'm now 1 stone heavier then I was in October.

As of tomorrow I'm back on. Watching the BL inspired me to get back into exercise, plus I'm annoyed that in 4 weeks I've undone all the hard work as it took me about 6 months to lose that 1st. I deserved a gain but not that much. Hey ho, I've had my fun & once I sort my head out ;) I'll be back in the game. I just wish I didn't need a programme to motivate me, I wish I had my own goals, but the second I set a goal, I gain. It's really weird.

I've not watched the series but caught a bit of the final last night - the girl who was the sulky one, didn't she look great - 40% loss is amazing!!!! x

Hi, I have another five stone to loose and am determind this time. This is my third time with SW, I always loose a couple of stone and then go off the boil.....probably because I'm so impatient. Rather annoyingly if I'd stuck to it either time round I'd be at target by now!! I am a slow and steady girl, 1lb here half a lb there and then the occational three or four lb surprise and it's been that way every time. I know that a few weeks of half a lb losses and the odd small gain can be so demorolizing for me that I give up. I have lost just over a stone so far and am determind to keep going this time even after a sts last week. It's taken me 20 yrs to gain, it's going to take at least a year to lose!! It's nice to see so many of you keeping going, motivates me, and really can't grumble as I'm not ever hungry so slow and steady is fine!! x

She was the one I was looking forward to seeing the most as to how well she'd done. I hated her attitude on the show but when she puts her mind to it she does so well. I was actually quite chuffed seeing how amazing she looked. Plus I have really chunky calves, like she did, & can't wear knee length skirts/dresses & seeing that her calves had slimmed down has encouraged me :)

Lisa - glad you've managed to find some inspiration to motivate you again.

HELPPPP!!!!

Hi Ladies,

Can i please join?? I have been at slimming world since 17th January 2012 and have only lost half a stone so far!!! I need some inspiration. I have stuck to plan and also joined the gym but feel I'm getting nowhere. I need to stick to it as I'm getting married next year and need to loose this junk in my trunk. I'm not giving up but I feel very down as not seeing results.

Any tips and tricks would be great - i tend to stick to either red or green as i like to have my 2's and 2b's rather than go on extra easy.

Thanks in advancexx:wave_cry:

Hey hun and welcome. Half a stone isn't bad. That's an average of a pound a week and if you lost a pound a week for a year you would be 52 pound lighter which is just short of 4 stone! What are
you struggling with? Do you stick to plan and not lose much or is it a struggle with following the plan we have s real mixture of both on here. I fall into the latter category. I convince myself I'm on plan and conveniently forget about stuff I shouldnt be eating lol. X x

Welcome Shelster :)

Well done latte! Keep up the good work Hun x x

Les :( hugs hun, hope you get your mojo. Back soon

Another 100% day for me. Made a lovely stew for tea lots of super free so just gonna go have seconds now :D
Thanks x. Tea sounds good :)

Ta x.

2lbs off for me and it was taster nite. Flying visit tonite, will read thru posts and catch up with everyone tmrw :) xxx
Yay, well done :D

No nothing, hence lack of motivation. In truth I love little short dresses but cant wear them as I have really chunky calves. And I don't mean my legs aren't skinny, I mean my calves are so chunky I can't wear knee length skirts/dresses even shorts. They're really horrible. I just hope when I eventually weigh what I want & have toned up I'll have slim calves, not sure though. I've seen lots of lovely clothes id love for the summer, they're not inspiring me though. I think from Thursday I'm going to take it a day at a time & give my all.*

Les - I'm with you, I'm blimmen awful right now, eeek!
Ta x :)

Welcome, Shelster, though your weight loss so far is no so bad for the tortoises :)

I don't want to go and face the scales, ladies :(

Not sure what time your weigh in is Les but I am routing for you. Just go it might not be as bad as you think x

Thanks Latte. I've been buggering about for weeks and now I've got to pay the piper :(. My sister has just come back from about 6 weeks away and has gained 0.5lb. Why can't we do that?

Les - just go and get it over with my lovely, then you can put it behind you and climb back on the wagon.

I am also on track for a gain this week, but at least I know why this time (a long weekend of loud rock music with bags of chips washed down with Disaronno ).

Your sister is the lucky one.... like you and many of the other slow losers here, I can't veer off even for an evening - I hope she appreciates it!

Sounds like my idea of fun. Possibly with a Baileys thrown into the Disaronno.

lesley thats not so bad is it ?? it could have been allot worse. just get back on plan and you will recover your losses again.

welcome shelster !
