Had a change of plan this weekend and ended up visiting family.

Trying to keep control but finding it difficult given the circumstances.

Also WI this morning - 1kg back on. It is star week so trying not to panic to much.
 
Have been off plan today due to circumstances - some of it was me tho!

Next two days are to be green as off camping in weds to sun and it's too much like hard work sorting out red days on top of everything else

Feeling very stressed at the mo.
 
Well that's a glorious summer over and done with.

One festival and two weeks in Cornwall have had the result of rocketing my weight from 69kg to 77kg.

So back with serious motivation and to fair I couldn't really face another pasty!

Eased in with a green day yesterday.

Quorn salad with yoghurt and chive dressing

Tea

Stir fried cabbage and quorn ham with soy sauce and boiled rice 6 syns for sesame oil

Today I am out until 9:30 so packed lunch and dinner

Carrots, banana, blueberries

Quorn spicy snack 0.5 syn

I think I had two alpen as well so above syns today - prob about 16

Need to keep a grip of this!

Stir fried LM prawns with soy sauce baked tofu 0.5 syn

Im glad it's the weekend tomorrow so I can do some serious cooking. I need o make soup and a sausage casserole
 
Hi Missy - what a lovely welcome back! The quorn spicy snack thing is in the chilled section and is over priced at about £1.35 but perfect for a special treat - its little quorn fillets with flavouring.

Today was WI and it's 72.7 so about 5kg down from last week - I suspect the majority is water but it's still a lot better than where I was!

Yesterday was a wash out - started well with poached eggs and mushrooms on a bed of rocket but after a healthy lunch of quorn fillets, vegetable and a yoghur dressing the alcohol started...I had just finished a 5 hour cleaning marathon so hopefully would have offset some cals

So today..

Huge breakfast - LM red onion saus x 3, two fry lite eggs, pile of dry fried mushrooms and some tinned toms 1 syn for brown sauce

Lunch - roasted veggies - BNS, baby corn, courgette, carro, onion etc . Quorn fillets baked with mozzarella, basil and toms. On bed of rocket.

2 x light alpen

Tea - broccoli and quark soup, asda mango and pineapple yoghurt

SnaX

Melon, banana

Had all HEB and HEA. Syns low to soak up some of yesterday's.

So quite happy this Sunday evening.

Seems asda meat free chicken is 2.5 syns a bag so I would say I had one syn worth. Total of eight syns today.

Oh, and the Spagless Bol was quorn with loads of mushrooms etc
 
I watched supersize super skinny and the skinny was a woman who didn't eat any carbs. Or t least very little. It did make me wonder about the long term effects off low carb. I might have a look.
 
Hmmm interesting yet conflicting stuff on the Interweb about low carb

Theory 1 it affects the brain and impairs cognition

Theory 2 it affects the brain and improves cognition

And scientific evidence for both

I just spotted your diary and thought I'd say hello :) I have no idea how you do red days as a veggie lol. I've recently started having 2 or 3 Extra Easy days a week and that's tough enough for me. So congrats!

Today I have been at work for 13 hours and really busy so I think I've done well. Avoided a conference buffet by eating my packed lunch

and passed on the chocolate cakes at class this evening.

Feeling very good about things this week. Looking forward to WI...
