Thank god for this site it really does help keep your mind on the diet and off food. I've just done half an hour on the wii fit in honour of trying to get another pound of as that would be the 2 st 7 lb mark and another milestone.
Gem- It is weird actually as i only lost the pound today, other than that i've been the same for 5 days which is the longest time since i started CD normally i lose at least every other day. Ho hum trying not to obsess.

Yeah - rotten. 
I've been forced into a financial situation where I'm going to have t do a couple days of 2 meals (200 cals, white protein and lettuce) with 1 shake. I'm almost out of food and can't afford more for a few days. Being a university student sucks sometimes. I work 3 jobs, but the expenses start piling up so quickly! Especially with petrol costs and the fact that the petrol stations have stopped buying premium gas in favour of minimum octane because the average American car runs off that rubbish. Buying the British car might have been a mistake.
I'm hoping I won't gain anything, and I'm also secretly hoping that when I can afford it again and go back to SS for minimum 4 weeks (maximum to Thanksgiving), the few days of this will jog me past the plateau and I will start losing rapidly with the SS again. :-\

I'm feeling your pain GT, i was always ...how shall i put it....financially strained while at uni, don't worry about it just do what you have to and try and stay positive. Like you say hopefully this will jog you past and inspire you again.
I'm still trying to learn to drive, i started again when i was pregnant in 2006 and booked my practical test, which they cancelled and rearranged for just after my due date, so i obviously had to cancel it. Then i had to have an emergency c section with my little boy so couldn't drive for 6 weeks.....18 months on i'm trying again. I've bought a vauxhall corsa and i'm hoping to take my test this month so keep fingers and everything crossed for me!

oooh good luck thinkthincd! it took me 2 years and 3 tests to pass! but been driving 5yrs this october so it was worth it x
financially every month is a struggle for me. think most people are in the same boat these days. it's only because we are living with the in-laws that i can afford cd!!! xxx

I do enjoy it but i still make the stupidest mistakes, i drove over a zebra crossing last week, without noticing the people waiting to cross!
Oops, need to be able to do it though, if we decide to have another baby next year i don't want to be stuck in with 2 of them lol!

That made me laugh out loud Gem, its exactly the sort of thing i do, i sometimes forget which side of the road i should turn in to, glad its not just me!
Anyone heard from 161ds? shes gone really quiet, not heard from pbfh either for a few days hope both are ok.
