Hi everyone - well thats another month done and dusted with the start of a lovely fresh one - May! Hopefully this month we'll get some real results again after a good April :)

I think we should become the Wii Fitties anyway - fitties in the sense that we are getting fit & slim.... then by the time we're finished we will actually BE fitties :D :p

As always, this is not just a Wii Challenge (the name has just stuck!), but all console games can be included in this too - for any newbies wanting to join us all you need to do is add your name and the time you'd like to spend exercising each month to the list - couldn't be easier! We're a fab little group of slimmers who really encourage and help each other along :)

I never meet my target of 20 hours so am going to down it to 18 hours and see how I do - what with Zumba, Wii Fit, Cyberbike and Just Dance to do I should succeed no bother :D

Right I'm really gonna kick my own butt this month. I'm sick of myself now. I have drawn up a little list for me to follow on my Wii, I'm going to try to this at least 4 days a week and the other 3 days will be doing something less strenuous - maybe knocking 40mins off the exercise time. Will be done along with a calorie controlled diet.

20 mins Wii Fit – 10 mins boxing + 10 mins Hula Hoop

20 mins Cyberbike

20 mins Wii Sports Tennis

20 mins Zumba Beginners Class

20 mins My Fitness Coach Dance Workout.

1hr 40 mins

Right I'm going to take myself in both hands this month! (one isn't enough!) So I'm going for 15! Plus I did 45 mins zumba this morning, that was hard!

Another 31 mins on wii cycling. My hip was abit sore after the zumba yesterday. You don't sweat as much but it gets the heart rate up.

Can someone put me down for 20hrs please and for people using wii fit, please can you recommend good exercises to pump up the heart rate. Tnx

If you aren't used to much in the way of cardio yet, why don't you start with the hula hooping and step? The running can be fun too if you start off gradually.

Oooh im up for giving this a go used to enjoy playing on the wii and need to get into a routine of excercising again. Think i'll start at 10 hours this month.

Hello Temmy, I too would recommend the Hula Hooping, Stepping and the boxing on Wii Fit. They get the heart going. If you have Wii Fit Plus there is a section which can be worked for Cardio. :)
