I've been on the forums for a long time. However 3 months into a new relationship I am the heaviest I've been for a while, so I'm doing Atkins (again) as it is my favourite of the low carb varieties! I'm not looking to lose loads, 1 stone initially.

Starting weight - 12.1 :cry: BMI: 24.9

Day 1
B. -
L. Cauliflower cheese, sliced chicken
D. Gammon steak, spinach and olive oil
Dr. black coffee, water

Net carbs: 6g

I didn't have much time prep today, I didn't have much in! However I've been shopping now and got my essentials :)

Day 2
B. half avocado
L. Gammon steak, spinach, peppers, olive oil
D. Omelette with cheddar cheese, mushrooms and onion
Dr. black coffee, water

Net carbs: 5g

Day 2 done :) I deviated slightly from my original plan for the day.

I'm not usually hungry in the morning... This morning, I was starving!

B. 1 avocado with tsp of salad cream
L. Gammon, pepper and spinach salad with olive oil
D. Homemade chicken and chorizo soup (an old recipe, just extracted the potato and its pretty much carb free :) )
Dr. coffee (2 had a small bit of milk), water

Net carbs: 12g (I've counted my milk as 5)

Bar the milk I'm pretty happy with today!

Planning for tomorrow,
B. Avocado and salad cream
L. Tuna mayo salad
D. Chicken and chorizo soup
S. I'm climbing tomorrow so I was considering having a few pork scratchings as a snack? Does anyone else eat these (I personally love them, but in conventional diet world they are just plain wrong!)

Hi tig - all sounds good:) you might want to add more veg as will fill you up and keep your insides happy. It doesn't make any difference to have carbs lower than 20g so you can use them:) enjoy!

Oh yes and pork scratchings are great - just check the pack as a couple of brands sneak carbs in:eek:
 
I'm still here! A couple of glitches over the weekend, but I was 4lb down this morning :)

Not purposefully so low, however I suppose it won't hurt to claw back a bit over weekend!

So I ended up eating naff all yesterday. I wasn't hungry. Forced some chicken down.

The scales this morning... 11.7! That's minus 8 :)

Today I have been pretty good (bar 1 biscuit...) but my carbs are still below 20g. Just.

D. ? Not sure yet
Dr. Water, coffee, diet coke

I'm rock climbing tonight, so some exercise too! :)

It's brilliant, I really pushed it this evening, got a good workout. I'll be achey tomorrow! I did treat myself to a milkshake...

I have no idea what is even in my fridge at the moment so I'll have to do my meal planning tomorrow!

A very very low carb day today. Not on purpose, I just ate what I had!

I'm cooking a chilli for dinner tomorrow and then I have an action packed weekend which will involve alcohol...

I'm still here! I had a big weekend planned... In terms of food it wasn't too bad, however there a lot of alcohol involved...

So today straight back on it and I'll avoid the scales until Friday :)

Today!
B: Bacon, sausage, scrambled egg and mushrooms
L: - Breakfast was late
D: mushroom, onion and blue cheese omelette
Dr: Coffee, water and a diet coke

Net carbs: 16g
